Must of read over this thread about 3 or 4 times, the lack of people on here during penalties is hilarious compared to the match. Everyone was probably kneeling at their TVs doing some sort of arm motion with their hands whilst praying! Amazing night, although had the worst headache throughout it. They do make it look difficult but I wouldn't have it any other way, love this club.

I'll always have a bit of a soft spot for Bayern, they took their defeat on the chin and moved on and were gracious and welcoming hosts (from everything I've read/heard).

 

The Champions League has a 'weird' feeling for me now, when we bowed out last year I wasn't particularly annoyed. Disappointed to an extent, yes, but now that we've done it it doesn't have that same grip over me. 

 

tl:dr = I'd like to see us win it again but there's no need to rush.

    Charles I felt the same way you did & on top of that I got to see The Blues @ Stamford Bridge for the first time, a memory I will take to the grave w/ a smile on my face. So I felt like this when we bowed out in the UCL last season:

    However that crap changed when we hired fat w**k stain as our gaffer. I still marvel at our board, who been pull crap like this for decades (yes I read up on our history)
