December 23, 201411 yr Best night in our history what a night, still get goosebumps to this day just thinking about it.
December 30, 201411 yr Brilliant, except I still had to skip the first four minutes - still can't watch that, even now we've won it.
December 30, 201411 yr When I see that pile of players at the end, it's a miracle nobody got hurt. And I love how the players tear off screaming in different directions after Drogba's penalty. Aahhhh, it never gets boring, does it! Or predictable even :-)
December 30, 201411 yr Amazing night. Recently found out that a family member I hadn't spoken to for years was out there that night not far from where I was in the stadium. Gave us a chance to recount our memories together.
December 30, 201411 yr Wonderful video as it captures the moment we won this competition brilliantly and the pain and suffering we had to endure from years gone by to finally win it in that one night in Munich! A night I will never forget for as long as I live!
December 30, 201411 yr I've watched a fair few videos of our Champions League win & that one is right at the top of the pile thanks for sharing it Zeta. Sitting in work and I have goosebumps creeping over my whole body, hairs standing on end and tears welling up in my eyes. I still to this day can't believe we won it, after all the years of pain we had being so close and before my time in the much darker days, nothing will ever take that away from us, it really shows the raw emotion that football brings out in people, we're talking 2 years ago and I'm still getting emotional! I'm one of the worst for people who overreact in match threads but it's heat of the moment passion and looking back at that, it makes you appreciate that all the success we've had in recent years is fantastic and long may it continue, but we'll always be Chelsea and we'll always love our club, whether it's in the Champions League or the Conference. It also shows how the final in Moscow was the harshest of defeats, we deserved to win that night and those players deserved it. I'm glad the ones who were still around in 2012 finally got their winners medal with us! Every player in that squad no matter your opinion on their quality played their part and for that alone we should be eternally grateful! The futures bright for us, hopefully many more nights like this to come for us!
December 30, 201411 yr Remarkable when you look at who's now gone from that historic line up. Ash is gone. Mata is gone. Luiz is gone. Torres is gone. Bosingwa is gone. Lampard is gone. Man... wow.

Agreed. Fantastic video.
December 30, 201411 yr It's quite sad, Kalou, Malouda and Torres have gone as well. Cech and Drogba are no longer first XI players, not to mention Bertrand has one foot out of the door as well. Really the only two left with a serious role to play are Cahill and [arguably] Mikel.
December 30, 201411 yr It even had the footage of that unpunished kungfu kick by Ferdinand in Moscow that nearly took Joe Cole's head off, and should have brought a penalty to us. Here's a still:
December 30, 201411 yr Author I love how the people who run on after Drogba scores don't get told to leave they just get hugged by the players.
December 31, 201411 yr It even had the footage of that unpunished kungfu kick by Ferdinand in Moscow that nearly took Joe Cole's head off, and should have brought a penalty to us. Here's a still: Didn't the linesman flag for a penalty for this?

Here's a still: Suppose that's where Johhny Evans got his inspiration to do a little Kung Fu on Drogba, yet another time a CFC player gets booked for simulation when its beyond a stonewall penalty.
January 28, 201511 yr Bit self indulgent of me, but it's a decent enough excuse to bump the thread. For my birthday, the wife has got my CL Final programme and tickets mounted in a frame. It's got a silver plaque with the game's details, she'd even got a type of glass for the frame that prevents the UV rays from fading the paper. It's a bit of an idea and gives me the excuse to smile, every time I sit in the living room.

January 28, 201511 yr Thanks for the comments. It's a strange thing, even now after almost three years, occasionally when either watching the end of the game on TV, the video's that have been made of that campaign, and now the montage put on at the ground, I can still find myself welling up a bit.

That's great mate. I like one of the videos taken by a German fan behind the goal at the end. You can just hear the roar as Drogba scores.. Amazing.

That's the one where the German keeps repeating "bitte Bastien" just before he misses the pen, I think? I've watched that one a few times.

January 28, 201511 yr Might be my favourite video from that night. The way the Germans were about to cheer at 4:05 is brilliant, then the roars when Cech saves then Drogba scores are unforgettable. Also some c**t is chanting "Drogba in the zoo" as he's walking up.

Yeaaa that's my favourite video too I always repeat watching it when I ever I'm upset or sad about our performance it just reminds me of good and happy times
