Was and remains the last salvo of a once great side. Some cemented their legacies that night.

 

We are waiting to see what the side Jose is trying to build can achieve.

I don't know about you but if Drogba, Lamps, JT, Cech & Ash had left CFC without winning it any future win would be slightly (only slightly) soured. It's a bit like Liverpool's situation with the league - they desperately want to win it with Gerrard. I don't know, maybe just me... but those 5 walking out of CFC with CL & PL medals just makes everything perfect.

I still can't quite belive it. Over two years on and I just sometimes stop and think. Chelsea Football Club have won The UEFA Champions League. 

 

Deep down I thought we would never do it. It was too difficult. We were just not meant to. After countless times of being robbed and injustice we finally did it. And on penalties. To the Germans. In Germany. 

 

If there was ever a time to use the word 'unbelivable' it was this match.

The English teams have certainly done it the hard way in recent times, Man United against Bayern, Liverpool against Milan, then us against Bayern.

It's a shame the England team couldn't show that same bit of grit at times.

I remember this match this was the best feeling ever my brother needed Chelsea to lose so Tottenham stayed in champions league spot when Drogba scored that penalty I screamed with excitement I will never forget that match
