Hahahah, that's ridiculous. In that case he must be Superman and someone buried kryptonite under the Shed End....

He's still very quick over 30-40m so I imagine that's the tests Inzaghi referred to, the nature of his injuries is that his acceleration is shot and it was never properly rehabilitated while he was at Liverpool.

Also it's a thinly-veiled attempt to justify his signing to the fans and try and inject some confidence into Torres.

 

I wouldn't be entirely surprised if Torres regained his pace and form at Milan though, they have the best sports medicine and performance set-up in the world, and I don't doubt they are capable of rehabilitating him.  It's unlikely to happen this season, however, as that kind of physical training needs to be done in pre-season or off-season, it's simply too intense a program to be done in-season.

Torres' success at Milan depends a lot on Montolivo's recovery imo. He is the man to make the most out of Fernando's runs.

Torres was clearly one of the most heavily debated players I've ever seen. He is gone, and I wish him all the best during his time at AC Milan and moving forward.
