Complete and utter disrespect. To be fair it is the Sun so it's probably a load of rubbish but his presence both on and off the field is too valuable.

Its the suns stab again at unsettling the squad and give the club another kick.

They can see what may come at the end of the season and going with a story in the hope it will happen.

I especially like the "a Stamford Bridge insider said" - what a bunch of phone hacking bent crooks!

If this is true, for me, it will be worse than the sacking of RdM. Lamps is IMO our greatest ever player, only our board would tell him to pack his bags and f**k off.

The thing is the club have better things to do then respond to stupid stories like this. If they respond all it will do is show that the papers like the Sun know how to get under our skins. If Benitez is asked about it, he should respond the right way by laughing and saying it's rubbish. He won't though because he has no idea how to handle media situations.

If true then this is the lowest moment in our history. Not Moscow, Ovrebo, Garcia's ghost goal or anything else, this takes its place on top of the sh*t heap.

I don't think this is true at all but if so, I will watch less and less of Chelsea. I will pray that Roman bellies up and is forced to sell the club. I personally would rather have the mid table club I began liking as a Yank back! Yes maybe so, but doesn't have a real ring to it? You don't really think him and Cole are actually getting new contracts? Even if the article isn't true, the foundations of it is. Franks not getting a new contract, they may as well tell him he's off.

 

Like I said in my original post, it may all be lies, but it's based on truth.It's such a shame to see a legend like Frank go, not only because of what he represents but also what he adds to the squad. Who taught Luiz those Freekicks? Look at our recent record with and without Frank. You don't think a player like him boosts a dressing room? What do we do once he goes? Buy another replacement?

Don't believe it for a second, there's no way we're going to offload him in January unless someone comes in with a ridiculous offer for a 34 year old with 6 months left on his contract (which won't happen).

It's the sun most likely bullsh*tting and trying to seek attention from the masses, but if it is true, then Roman, Gourley and Buck should all hang their heads in shame. The day Frank Lampard and John Terry are forced to leave the club against their will, the day I will advocate for all three to leave this club. I've never liked Benitez, but I wish more of our fans focused on the board, instead of Benitez as being the plague of this club.

 

Frank Lampard is the heart and soul of Chelsea. He is a living legend of this club. The fans love him, he's given 100% in every single match he's played for us and if you watched the match against Aston Villa on the weekend, you will understand how much he deserves a new contract. He may be 34 years old and a little slower than he used to be, but he's still skilful and he has fantastic leadership skills which i think the majority of our players lack a bit. He is still an asset to this club, and if he's bundled out of Chelsea, well my support for Roman, Gourley and Buck will be gone forever. My support for them was already tested with the RDM sacking, but if they continue to run the club he an autocratic manner, well they should 'piss off'.

 

I want our club to have integrity, loyalty and passion. I just don't know if Roman, Gourley and Buck have been able to instil those values in modern day Chelsea.
