July 17, 201412 yr Weaintgotnohistory is basically just random opinions in the end though isn't it. Nothing of any substance there. "according to a rumour in the everton store" from "Everton Supporters" - well, that doesn't exactly mean anything more than opinions expressed here really does it?
July 17, 201412 yr They report the rumours and gossip that comes up, which tends to be the scraps we mostly get until the club or player come out with anything. Least there we get the Chelsea gossip rather than having to wade through the other clubs as well lol.
July 18, 201412 yr Should be a Costa, Lukaku and Bamford strike trio next season, anything else is absurd.
July 18, 201412 yr I hope the he stays on board and fights for the number one spot but if he does we need to ban him from talking to all journalists he is his own worst enemy in that regard
July 18, 201412 yr Added "Chelsea Player" to his Twitter bio. Read into that what you will. This is actually trippy. I came here to post practically the exact same words ...
July 18, 201412 yr Bobby, Sorry if I misinterpreted. I just don't know if he's even No. 2. I just don't see Jose benching Torres in favor of Lukaku. You can't possibly be serious. You don't see Jose benching Torres for Lukaku? This same Torres? Ffs he benched Torres for Ba and Eto'o so not sure why you think Torres can't be pushed even further down. Add the fact that the club is looking for a buyer for Torres and it shows you just how important Jose thinks Torres is to the squad. I would bench the fecker for Bamford if it were up to me.
July 18, 201412 yr Totally agree, Torres, apart from just a handful of games, literally has to be the worst Chelsea buy ever!
July 18, 201412 yr It would be sad to see Lukaku go because he would definitely give us a Plan B, in breaking down defences.
July 18, 201412 yr Drogba batted his eyelids at AC Milan for a number of years. If Lukaku goes, he goes, but it's amusing to watch people contort reality to defend the club. Lukaku's proven himself on loan and yet the club have made little assurance or encouragement on his future, judging from his responses the club have no clear strategy for him and yet Lukaku is blamed for having the temerity to speak openly. Too many fans are quick to assume a loud mouth equals a poor attitude.
July 18, 201412 yr Barretinator, How do you know the club is looking to sell Torres? Who wouldnt want to sell Torres? Im beginning to grow belief we will keep him and he will sign a new deal, just a feeling!

No Lukaku doesn't like competition and that's all there is to it, it was he who wanted to go on loan to Everton instead if fighting for his place. The club offering him an extension clearly shows they have plans for him, if he doesn't want to sign then that's his prerogative but he does himself no favours at all coming out and complaining when he wasn't even willing to fight for his future here. Tbh if I were Everton fans and he us going there I'd be very weary because you can guarantee one decent season and a Champions League club comes in for him he'll want to leave. Can't stand the lad anymore tbh, if he's willing to show maturity, stay and fight then I'll give him a chance. Otherwise he can f**k off.
July 18, 201412 yr Should be a Costa, Lukaku and Bamford strike trio next season, anything else is absurd. Think I'd prefer to see Bamford on loan at a Premier League club than sitting on our bench (or worse) most games as 3rd choice. I still think Lukaku will go and we'll end up with Costa, Torres, Drogba.
July 18, 201412 yr I think a season on the bench for us could be good for Bamford tbh, he probably wouldn't get a whole lot of game tome but he'd get some and train with the first team etc. i know he ended up been sh*t but remember the effect Macheda had on the United team when they won the league back in 09? He could maybe have that sort of impact. Edited July 18, 201412 yr by Bobbywoodhogan
July 18, 201412 yr I still think Lukaku will go and we'll end up with Costa, Torres, Drogba. And what happens when Costa realizes that basically there will be no competition for his spot ? Or, like Oscar, his form goes to sh*t ? Then we'll be forced into another panic buy in the January window and a repeat of Jose complaining that he got no strikers. If Lukaku goes then we'll have to find another striker. Edited July 18, 201412 yr by Nick05

Yeah I know what you mean, it would be good to see him play regularly but you just never know he could get a small chance here and take it.
July 18, 201412 yr , I am almost certain that Drogba is not coming back to Chelsea. Why should he? He left Chelsea on a high & has nothing left to prove. I would rather wait until we find out what is going to happen with Lukaku.
July 18, 201411 yr Love to see Lukaku fighting costa to help bring the best out in em. All the best to Lukaku in chelsea blue this season
July 18, 201411 yr Looks like he might have to settle for being an Everton legend: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2697756/Romelu-Lukaku-rejoin-Everton-permanent-deal-48-hours.html
July 18, 201411 yr I'm sure he will become one. Another huge mistake, probably even more so than Sturridge. But we've at least still got Torres....so....
