evissy
Should we make a collective decision that once Rafa Benitez is kicked out we realize the mood killer is off and we can brighten up here? It is a bit depressing browsing the forum these days. Rafa is uniting us fans but the mood is negative which is the problem. Lets vent out all the anger now when he is still here. After he is gone it is very natural that we find the next target as we have already done with Torres. Torres was never a fan favorite but he was always supported. Now he is dragged to the same conversations with Rafa.
Jonty
Yeah i'd say Rafa coming has probably harmed Torres more than helped him, I don't think he ever got booed before games before the fatman took charge, now its sadly a weekly event. I suspect the mood will be very jovial once he's out and theres a new manager in, particularly if we get who we all want!
That Boy Brandinho
It's a bit depressing watching the team these days. Is it surprising that discussions about our pitiful performances would have a negative slant? I'm not going to pretend that everything is great as long as the FSW goes - he may be the most pressing issue, but he's hardly the only one. Torres is still here, there are major problems with the defense, there's no guarantee we'll land a competent manager, the board are still a bunch of nitwits, etc.

And to most conversation we ultimately find the problem from Rafa. There will be problems and we will talk a out them but the general feeling here is so black and hopeless. I'm contributing to it naturally as well and i'm not judging anyone. I just hope we realize after he is gone we can be more constructive here. bjd
Yeah i'd say Rafa coming has probably harmed Torres more than helped him, I don't think he ever got booed before games before the fatman took charge, now its sadly a weekly event. I suspect the mood will be very jovial once he's out and theres a new manager in, particularly if we get who we all want! I would suggest the crowd 'turning' on Torres has more to do with the arrival of Demba Ba who suddenly reminded everyone what it was like to watch a team with XI men and to watch a striker actually run towards the ball. However, i say that in the past tense because its starting to look very much like the interim has done a grand swift job of managing to rotate Demba Bar out of form. Yes, id agree its depressing round here. Its depressing full stop to be a Chelsea fan at the moment so its to be expected. The fanbase has been dumped on by the people that run the club. All things considered and speaking in relative terms its quite possibly the sh*ttest season we've ever had with the sh*ttest manager we've ever had. Not a good combo. So i wouldnt expect fun and games, as its all crap. Edited February 27, 2013 by bjd
SpecialOne0506
I cant see how the mood could be positive with FSW in charge, i went to City away and even before they scored the atmosphere is horrible and negative. I do feel like it effects the players however ill always be one of the ones singing Rafa Out, Only one Di Matteo. It is the only way we can get a view across at Chelsea. General
sometimes only bad times allow us to grow as individuals, this for most Chelsea fans is one of those moments, I know my loathing for FSWhas grown these last few months when that fat bar steward finally leaves I will be un corking the bubbly just like a cup has been won, in fact I envisage it as being nearly as good as Chelsea winning a tin pot, roll on May or June whenever his contract expires and fingers crosssed it may come sooner
stevo
Been the lowewst point for me in my 31 years of supporting Chelsea FC. Just feel numb at the moment, the atmosphere at the Bridge has gone from bad to worse since R**a has taken charge. Can't even stand logging onto the official website incase there's a picture of him wearing a Chelsea badge.
BlueBeard
Worst ever season as far as I'm concerned - I was happier when the likes of Blanchflower, Hurst & Porterfield were in charge. Only way to cheer everyone up is for the fat c*nt to leave never to return. Might be a good idea for the mods to install a link to the Samaritans till the end of the season... coombsie
This is truly the worst that I have felt in my 45 years as a Chelsea fan. I admit to only coming on to the forum to see if FSW has been sacked or to read the growing number of posts about his FAILING tenure at OUR Club. I despise not only FSW but the Board and YES Roman too, for letting this happen and for once again, turning the Club into a laughing stock. This just has to stop. I will not win any plaudits for saying so, but feel that if it really would stop the Circus that Chelsea is now, I would happily see Roman sell or leave the Club. I know that you should be careful what you wish for, but I don't care any more. We are a Global brand now, Champions League winners etc etc and I am certain there must be another Oil rich sheikh or Oligarc out there with more business acumen than the present encumbant. I hate feeling like this but the FSW going is not going to change much. It will only be a matter of time before the next massive cock up either in wrongly hiring or wrongly firing the next man in the door.
MKBlue
I'd love to be the one lighten the mood a bit, but that's not gonna happen. Half time at Boro tonight and we've looked like the Championship side. I can't recall a time in my 40+ years supporting the club when I've cared less if we win a game or not, and I know how bad that reads but every defeat and potential cup lost is a day nearer to that clown leaving my club for good. This whole episode has been an enormous own goal on Roman's part and if he decides to pack up and go as well then so be it. IT'S OUR CLUB AS WELL!! Jezz
I've seen some bad times in during the late 70s and early 80s, but boy this current season takes the cake for being the worst ever. It's just sad to see we have all these resources to be the best, but instead our idiotic board can't see what it's doing wrong. This season should have been a season of celebration where we revelled in being known as the 'Champions of Europe', but for me it's been a massive letdown. The only thing I've enjoyed about this season is Frank Lampard's rejuvenation in form and very soon he will break Bobby Tambling's goalscoring record for Chelsea. However, even then the board doesn't want to renew his contract which makes this season even more miserable.
Arq
The forum mood isn't the greatest but during matches we usually try to keep things a little more positive and lively in chat. Until we're scored upon... Then it's mayhem and the FSW can f**k off once again.

moi
Sleeping. I've been battling sickness for almost a week and just couldn't stay up for the match since it was on late (here). Sorry! snap!! I've been very weary since my operation and fell asleep on the sofa, waking up with a start in time for the 70th minute! We must be needing the sleep! There were only two people there when I went in and they didn't answer my greeting, so either they are rude peasants, or more likely, they were off doing something else and not at their posts! Hope you're feeling better soon! XXX Edited February 28, 2013 by moi
yorkleyblue
The forum mood isn't the greatest but during matches we usually try to keep things a little more positive and lively in chat. But not in the match thread, which is a cess-pool of vitriolic bile if we aren't 5-0 up within 20 minutes, and even worse if one or more players is deemed to be not playing well by the footballing brains that inhabit those threads. Zeta
As soon as Fatty goes the mood will increase dramatically. Of course we'll all be so happy he's finally gone that we'll probably forget to hate the board for sacking RDM and wrecking our season. Wouldn't surprise me if that was part of the plan behind hiring him.

THERafaBenitez
It does feel a bit sh*t being a Chelsea fan right now but just remember there are teams in much worse positions then us, ones were the fans could wake up with their club not even existing anymore one day like Portsmouth :/
bluedave
My mood lightened immensely after hearing the FSW's rant last night. At last it feels like there's a light at the end of the tunnel, and I'm optimistic he may be gone sooner rather than later.
