I updated this rendering, finally adding brick and concrete textures. Also finished modelling the exterior now. This is pretty close now I think.

I was quite sceptical when I first saw it. It looked a bit thuggish. But the more I understand the vision the more I like it. Particularly the brick which will let it mature and look awesome for years to come.

I totally concur with MikeCarefree, we need to drown out the drone of the filth marching song.

Hope so as well. Great to see the flags around the ground. Especially like the flags of the Supporters Clubs from around the World.

Definitely; its the little things like this that are essential and will make all the difference when trying to make a new stadium feel like home.

 

City opted to do away with real flags in favour of LED display flags which I personally thought was a sad day for football. 

id like to see some sort of commemoration for Terry and his service to the club but modern players don't seem to get statues anymore

 

Have to be John Neal for me, struggled through the worst two seasons in the club's history, before spending bargain basement amounts on 5 players who won us the 2nd Division in his third season, and what a lovely team it was to watch, and for me he is responsible for the turn around in the club's fortunes that got us back on the map again.

We had the one season again in div 2 in 88/89 but everyone knew it was for only one season, as we shouldn't never of gone down. Maybe the john Neal suite or john Neal bar would be the least we could do, also something for bobby Campbell as well.I think things like this will remind us of yesteryear, pre roman.

A tribute to John Neal would be great. Did such a wonderful job when he was at the club. So many great players he brought to the club. 

 

Will be interesting to see what names are given to stands, entrances and bars. Would be good if fans are asked to vote for names. Doesn't necessarily need to be limited to players. Should also include managers, coaches etc. I think it would be nice to have part of the ground e.g. a bar dedicated to Richard Attenborough who held onto his stake in the club.

 

We have a statue of Ossie outside the West Stand. Should there be more statues at the new Bridge? And if so, who? Ron Harris? John Terry?

The Chelsea Pitch Owners (CPO) annual general meeting will take place in the Drake Suite, West Stand, Stamford Bridge, from 11.00 on Friday 29 January 2016.

The relevant papers have been sent to all shareholders at the addresses held by the company. If you have NOT received these, please email  [email protected]

Copies of the ballot paper and the AGM booklet can be downloaded below. 

We are aware of two mistakes in the booklet. On page 4, Resolution 1, there is a repeat of the words, ‘with the directors’ report and auditors’ report on those accounts’; and on page 10 please note that next to note 14 the word ‘within’ should read ‘after.’ We apologise for these clerical errors.

Shareholders, especially those who cannot attend the meeting, may also send questions to [email protected]. These will be incorporated into the question and answer session.

The AGM will conclude at 12.45pm, after which we have arranged for representatives of the Stamford Bridge stadium redevelopment team to be on hand for 30 minutes to discuss the planning proposals. The model of the prospective new stadium will also be on show at the meeting.

Spurs have matched our bid for Wembley. Does this change anything? How high will we go? This is getting to be serious money and they'll only get more desperate

IMO the obvious common sense and logical thing for the FA to do is to agree for both clubs to ground share, with each team playing on alternate Saturday's or Sunday's etc,etc

However the FA could decide to sit back, enjoy making us all sweat, be greedy and just sit back and play one off against the other and create a bidding war!

I think the fa would like to accommodate both of us, money wise. but what are the conditions laid down for the amount of games, it could rattle up with the cup games, european Matches (hopefully) replays etc.
