i have earned the right to say that i don't like what i see  at CFC and i'll be fekked if any of you sheep are going to tell me otherwise!

Exactly HOW have you "earned the right"?

£1 billion and 3 years at Wembley it was never worth it. With our current profit margins it would've taken 100 years to pay off the debt. Better to invest in the squad then try to get a bit more money from the stadium.

I'd imagine a chunk of the build would have been off set by selling naming rights.

Also, just because the stadium isnt going ahead, doesnt mean there is more money for players.

Roman cant give us a cash injection of say 200m for transfers, we can only spend what we make under FFP, even PSGs cunning state sponsorship and inflated figures is under investigation from UEFA.

to be quite honest i think the Russian has outstayed his welcome :)

What an odd thing to say about somebody that has given the club so much. Those 5 league titles we have wouldn't have happened without Abramovich, the likes of Hazard, Drogba, Cech, Ashley Cole, Makelele, Kante, Robben, Ballack, Essien ( i could go on ) it's unlikely that we would have seen any of these players playing for us if it wasn't for Abramovich. Do you honestly believe we would be better off with somebody else in charge of the club?

Mears was a cnut, so was Bates is it too far to think that the current owner may share some of these traits?

after all you don't go from selling dolls to being a billionaire in a couple of years and being part of Putin's inner circle by being nice!

Frankly, I think you’re a bit of a c**t too.

To speak about the owners of our football club, despite all the good they have done for us, in that manner is appalling.

Say what you like about Mears (he was a **** imho) but. Bates worked his ass off for years trying to save the club from dying!  Not a pot to piss in. Developers hovering over our heads. Slum stadium. Notorious, racist, scummy fans that turned a well liked club into a hated one. Attendance's falling to alltime lows. He (and the board) devised a longterm plan to bring in serious investment that would totally transform the club. He did just that and the rest is history!

He was close to Yeltzin before Putin came along. Yeltzin may have sold out to the CIA, it was the time when people on the make were ready to buy the shares the ordinary punters had been given instead of food vouchers in the push to destroy communism. For those in the know, major money could be made.

Name 1 influential person that isn't in some kind of Putin's circle, that is still rich and alive and/or not in prison.

If Roman wasn't in a good relation with Putin, who knows what he would be doing now, to say the least. There are not real choices actually, if you dare to notice.

Fair point and it is the same here with the 70 year secrecy rule that papers won't break, like Dunblane for instance.

If they do some of them might have accidents.

What is that statement about absolute power and corruption.

If the Government just approved his visa instead of dicking around someone who’s been here for 14 years then it would all be fine.

Once again the government screw over veterans.

Don't support Putin then.

Brief statement from CPO Board;

STATEMENT FROM THE CPO BOARD REGARDING STADIUM DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

The Chelsea Pitch Owners Board is disappointed that the new Stamford Bridge stadium project is on hold.

However, we give our full support to Roman Abramovich to achieve the intended outcome in due course when the investment climate improves.

The aim of CPO now and in the future is to ensure Chelsea FC stays at Stamford Bridge.

No further comment will be made at this time.

Ah it’s that easy! Silly me!

He earned his wealth off of his relationship with Putin and now he is getting the negative side of a friendship with a man like Putin. You can't gain the positives and expect no negatives from the types of business that Abramovich has dealt in. Especially when your biggest ally (Putin in this case) is reverting to Bolshevick era policy and aggression to the west.

In fact, Roman made his fortune through his relationship with Boris Yeltsin. However, he he been close to Putin from the start (in fact, there is a suggestion that RA recommended Putin to Yeltsin as his successor).
