I wouldn't say he's overrated, it's just that he has all eyes on him right now. But in my opinion he is not a better midfielder than Koke, and certainly not worth double the outlay.

But I do agree that 60m is a insane amount of money, quite sad that the last few years all these insane numbers are being thrown around like nothing. But I guess thats what happens as time goes on in football

It's because some of the clubs have so much money and they don't care about FFP. If they believe someone have potential to become a great player they throw crazy amount of money just to get him before someone signs him.

I'm not sure if Pogba will leave Juventus in the summer. They will buy Cavani. They have some money to spend.

All the talk of overrated is really non sense to me if you watched at least 5 juve games and not just the Real Madrid game you would see that he is something special and what he means to juve. He really is worth that kind of money

I agree he's a special player and very good, but any 22 year old worth upwards of 60m is just ludicrous to me. Especially considering that someone on the level of Zidane was only signed for I believe 45m 15 years ago, and he even at the time was already a all time great

Can't really compare the price of a transfer 15 years ago. Zidane's fee is closer to 70m today due to inflation.

I'm not really one to worry about fees. If the club can afford it without putting the club under financial pressure, then I've no problem with how much we spend.

It's more important to get the right players, if the club want pogba, and his fee won't hinder other transfers, then I'm fine with spending big money on him.

We certainly need someone. The prices of football players have moved up. You can't compare zidanes value, or for that matter Maradonna or Pele with Pogba. You can compare Pogba with Griezmann or De Bruyne or Maticor anyone in the market today.

Not sure when, on average, a players value is at its maximum but in guessing it's when they around 26 it takes that long to prove your level and after that your net present value declines fairly fast.

Zidane at his best would be worth more than 70m today. Also, you are comparing Zidane at his best with Pogba who is only 22 years old and still has many years to grow before he reaches his peak. If you consider his age, his current level and his talent, 60m£ isn't even that bad of a price.

Its not unrealistic. This season, real dont need him and neigher do barca. He wont go to united and bayern wont pay that much money. 

 

If he moves this summer, its b/w psg, city and us and maybe very very slight chance to arsenal.

Matic and Pogba holding the central and Fabregas in front of them. It's just a dream, but I don't believe it will happen.

I refuse to get my hopes up about this, just as with Greizmann...but dare to think of this for a moment:
