Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15

Don't think United played too badly all things considered, City were far from their best and very nearly threw it away vs 10 men like we did at the Etihad, although in their defence they should have had at least 3 penalties.

Hope LvG punts Smalling in the tekkers once they get into the dressing room though, stupid sh*t.

That's a good point. It would be a vanity purchase. City are in theory strong enough now.

Gerrard will go overseas if anywhere.

Does Greenland count as overseas?

We might have to swallow our pride and bring back 'arry. Pochettino is similar to AVB in that he's stubborn and sticks to his guns when they are not working.

My expectations of Spurs are realistic but this season is sh*t and getting worse.

From what i have seen of Pochettino he just seems to carry on from where the previous manager left off. At Southampton he never really changed much, Nigel Adkins was doing a good enough job and Pochettino just carried on doing what Adkins was doing. Now at Tottenham we are seeing the same thing, i am seeing nothing different to what we were seeing when AVB was in charge. If anything they are worse.

Also, why is Kaboul captain ? he isn't even good enough to start for Tottenham so how exactly is he captain ? If it was my choice i would have kept Dawson and sold Kaboul.

Adkins sacking was harsh but Pochettino came in and did a much better job, Southampton were almost twice the team working under Pochettino.

The mailonline reporting what I was saying yesterday, If Liverpool don't offer Gerrard a new contract he will either go to the MLS or come to us, Apparently Pellegrini is interested in bringing him.

Hell's teeth, Gerrard at Chelsea; I need a sherry and a lay down in a dark room.

Can't wait to play Spurs. Spineless as f**k

You just know they'll raise their game for us.

Meaning it'll only be 3-0 rather than 4-0.

Hopefully that's Kane starting our next league game. Not a deserved victory but the three points are welcome. Pochettino has lots to think about and to address.

What business would you like to see Spurs do in January Spud?

It's a London Derby, so you know spuds will be ready to knock us off our perch. You saw qpha yesterday. They were ready to take a shot at Chelsea. They talk about the Manchester Derby, but think about it for a minute. There are 10 London Derbies matches for CFC this season. That is waay more taxing IMHO to play than one Manc derby. I am still baffled on how many clubs are located in London. I don't know how people in London survive. These are very deep rooted rivalries, with historic connotations. Generations of hate for the other rivals. Insane when you think about it.

I hope so.

Well, we need two more physical backs. Naughton and Kaboul should go and we need a physical, controlling central midfielder. As to names, I'll have to think about who'll we'd target.

Kane playing more will give us an in-form striker but our main problem lies at the back.

Not a very enjoyable season so far (in the league) but relieved at today's outcome.

This movie made an impression on me on how psycho dirty red scousers are

At a time when record money is coming into the clubs via tv and sponsorships, the real fans have been marginalised by ever increased ticket prices. This results in more tourists at the grounds and sterile atmospheres, fair play to those who protest.

Paradoxically, Sky becoming a major player made things better and worse at the same time.

I like that Man Utd are closer to 20th than 1st.

I like the fact that if you doubled Man U's points they still wouldn't be above us!
