Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15

Disgusting and why so many fans are being priced out of watching their team (I know I have).

£1 per minute to watch the sh*t that Spurs serve up? Pfffft.

Where does it end though, surely we're approaching a glass ceiling of ticket prices where soon it becomes too expensive and clubs struggle to fill the grounds?

It's no surprise to see London clubs charge more but I was surprised to find that our most expensive ticket was less than Spurs' and Arsenal's.

I only skimmed over the article but it doesn't seem to address what kind of seats the most expensive season tickets are for, if they are premium seats then you expect them to be quite expensive. For that reason I would take the article with a pinch of salt, a fairer comparison would have been to look at the average season ticket price rather than simply the most expensive, which is likely to be an extreme outlier.

I may be being stupid (it doesn't often happen, but it has been known) but how is sitting out "large parts of the remainder of the session" going to help him raise his fitness? In that case, I am forever raising my fitness!

Laughed at that myself haha!

I thought something similar myself when reading.

WBA's most expensive season ticket is half the price of ours but then again what facilities are on offer in the area of the ground you are sitting in.

I would argue a more reasonable comparison would have been to compare the cheapest season tickets of the all the clubs assuming the DM is too lazy to invest the time working out average costs.

Either way it's not going to tell us anything we don't already know... Spectating live football has become an extremely expensive past time.

I think that would definitely be more useful to the majority of ordinary people who aren't hugely wealthy, however I don't see it fitting in with the Mail's usual agenda of convincing its readership that they are being victimised (in this case by evil, greedy football clubs) in every possible way.

Barkley has signed a new four year deal with Everton.

Smart move that from the lad, glad he's not gone straight to a team like ourselves or City... Even if he's only there for another year it's going to do wonders for his development playing every week especially under a coach like Martinez.

Barkley has signed a new four year deal at Everton...think he's made right decision to stay and play at Everton...but I will be surprised if he stays another four years...he will go for big money in the near future...unfortunately I'm not sure we will bid

It's good to know that LVG isn't afraid to publicly humiliate his players. However if Shaw isn't fit enough, then he isn't fit enough.

The next humiliation will be when he comes out and says he chose RVP to be United captain purely for the reason that Rooney is too fickle.

To be honest I was really disappointed that Liverpool put Origi immediately out on loan - I was looking forward to cracking jokes about how they've gone from SAS to LOL in one transfer window....

Just a tad cringeworthy don't you think?

it's pathetic - just goes to show how poor their PR department really is, boring, predictable and lacking in credibility
