Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15

I agree Scott.

I've just watched the highlights of our game, yours and City's and, in fairness, we were all well beaten too. There wasn't much luck involved.

Apparently, City arrived back from the Middle East at 10pm last evening so that was them taking Boro stupidly for granted.

City either really disrespected the opposition and cup or are just incredibly retarded. There is no reason why they should be getting back from the middle east less than 24 hours before an F.A cup tie.

scousers forced to a replay.

not a great day for PL teams in the fa cup.

Probably one of the greatest rounds so far in FA Cup history. Even though we contributed to it ... long live the cup.

dayum I am just coming to the terms of the wreckage of the FA Cup this weekend. So many top sides fell by the waste side today. And to think I had the nerve to laugh at manure. All I can say now is well done by those bums :face_palm:

He's not the only one spud after what some of us saw today!

:-)

Disaster of a day - Fowler's right that some of the 'lesser' teams wanted it more.

Man City deserve to be out for frankly taking the piss out of the contest.

Anyone watching MOTD? Robbie Fowler doesn't look 100%. He looks poorly tbh.

maybe he bet on all of the favorites & his bookie just called him to remind him of all of the money he owes - so now he has The Blues - he can feel like us....not

He's fcuking brain dead...bizarrely missing the point when Jose said it was a disgrace to lose to Bradford...he had gone out of his way to praise Bradford, but said it was a disgrace for a top team to lose to a lower league side and he's right...but fowler tried to see it as some sort of disrespect - typical dim scouser

Have to admit a good day for the FA Cup, even if not for us. It'll be even better if Arsenal, Liverpool and Man U go out too, not just because it's fun to see them lose but it would really open up the draw, with most of the top half PL teams out by round 5.

I actually think that would ruin interest in the Cup, people like to see potential giant killings yes but when it comes to the final they'd rather see two of those three batting in it.

I agree ^. A Spurs fan contacted 606 last eve and said that most PL clubs are in the situation of being safe from relegation but not likely to get a top four finish. Why do those clubs (i.e. us) not make a huge effort in the Cup? What is there to lose? It's very sad that they do not.

In our case, we can't assume that we'll reach the League Cup final or win it.

I couldn't think of anything less interesting than watching Man U and Arsenal beating lower league sides all the way to the final. It'll be a nice change if someone from outside the usual suspects wins it.

I think you'll find Fowler's view is echoed all over the media today. Anything to take a kick at José.

If that's correct what you say then it just shows how pathetic and agenda driven the British media are.

Jose in his interview said well done to Bradford, and Twitter reported he went into their dressing room afterwards to congratulate them....their official Twitter too!
