May 2, 201511 yr I actually thought the journalist was unprofessional. Managers only do these press conferences because they have to, journalist should be grateful they are getting anything to write about. The guy was lucky that he wasn't told to f**k off, It's what i would have said to him. But if he had done that, the F.A would probably have charged him. It annoys me really because journalists are untouchable, they can do and say whatever they want without any consequences. They make up lies and twist things just to get a reaction or make people look bad. And they all do it too, there ain't many good journalists at all. They are smug, lying, arrogant, assholes. So yeah, as you can tell, i don't like journalists I don't like the part where he says media makes football a lot of money so he should respect him.... No, football makes the media a lot of money more so than the media enriching football. Any time football gets a buck or a quid from media it's because media made 5 or 10 off of football fans. In other words, we all consume media in some form to access football, i don't know anyone who consumes football because of media or to gain access to media. That whole clip might of featured a bully getting theirs but it also certainly exemplified some bully behaviour itself. I imagine Pearson is a football manager with reluctant media duties, why do the press hold him to the same standard as a pro when it's a tiny fraction of his job? Isn't that like a homicide deceive being expected tof have the professional demeanor/ability as a doctor because they occasionally deal with autopsies? Expecting your estate agent to have the knowledge of a barrister simply because they deal with contracts? Media representatives can be some of the biggest hypocrites and never have the high ground when it comes to bullying. It's become an industry within their industry.
May 2, 201511 yr We all know Jose isn't blameless when it comes to the spats between rival managers, but I can't ever remember him playing the class card like Wenger and pellegrino...the two of them are coming across as graceless bitter losers...hope they enjoy watching the trophy ceremony

So yeah, as you can tell, i don't like journalists You are right; Murphy was trying to provoke Pearson. That is the flip side of my view. Murphy was right imo that Leicester have had a positive press and that Pearson is seeing hostility where there wasn't any. Obviously there is hostility now so what Murphy was saying was out of date.
May 2, 201511 yr Really interested in the relegation battle this season. Agreed; there are lots of alternative outcomes. It might stay as it is - Sunderland, QPR and Burnley. I can't see Sunderland winning this weekend (cue an upset) and QPR can't keep a clean sheet. I think that QPR going down will gave huge, existence-threatening consequences for them. I know less about Sunderland and Burnley's finances. I really hope Villa stay afloat.
May 2, 201511 yr http://www.itv.com/news/2015-05-02/rio-ferdinands-wife-rebecca-dies/ Your heart has to go out to Rio Ferdinand after this. For any young family to go through this must be devastating but I don't think he mentioned it before today. Absolutely awful.

May 2, 201511 yr f**k cancer, seriously f**k it to it hell. Absolutely gut wrenching, poor Rio Ferdinand, their kids and entire family. Heart goes out to them, like him or not it's devastating.
May 2, 201511 yr f**k cancer, seriously f**k it to it hell. Absolutely gut wrenching, poor Rio Ferdinand, their kids and entire family. Heart goes out to them, like him or not it's devastating. 3 kids as well. Moments like this pierce through all the bullsh*t that surrounds people and it's just about a man losing the woman he loves in the most tragic of ways.
May 2, 201511 yr How utterly earth shattering for Rio and his loved ones. Hope they can get through this and the press leave them to mourn in private.
May 2, 201511 yr poor sods, cancer is so sh*t and to see kids lose a mother at such a young age is horrible.
May 2, 201511 yr Newcastle are f**king shocking. Losing 2-0 to Leicester. Hope they get relegated. Hate them.

May 2, 201511 yr Newcastle are playing like they're already safe from relegation. At this point I have news for them... Said this in the week and noticed they were 14-1 to go down. The thing that might save them is that their two home games are against West Ham and West Brom who are both safe and have little to play for.....but EIGHT games lost in a row is a tailspin they might not turn around. I'd expect them to drop below 10-1 now, maybe even 7-1.
May 2, 201511 yr Newcastle in freefall...if they were to go down, it would get rid of José's bogey ground. 04/05 Won in League Cup, lost in FA Cup, drew in league 05/06 Lost in the league 06/07 Drew in the league 13/14 Lost in the league 14/15 Lost in the league So Mourinho has won 1, lost 4, and drawn 2. Weird how such a bang average team has such a good record against us (not even included losing 3-2 in 2012/13, Papiss Cissé's wondergoals in 2012 at the Bridge).
May 2, 201511 yr We lost to this shower of sh*t, on my birthday. They can f**k off with Sunderland and QPR/Burnley. Don't want our players to have to travel that far anymore.

May 2, 201511 yr Derby are out of play offs as things stand. Not so long ago they looked like they'd be champions.
May 2, 201511 yr I think Burnley and QPR have no chance of overtaking anyone other than villa out of the sides not in the bottom 3. As things stand the only side who may drag Newcastle down is Sunderland, and they face arsenal and us in their last 2 games. Honestly think the bottom 3 is now decided. Only a disaster for villa would see that change.
