May 9, 201511 yr Lots of talk guardiola has agreed contract or in talks with City...have to say I'm not worried...think Jose will take him to the cleaners City's medical team probably are!
May 9, 201511 yr City are in a mess...not a squad that is at it's peak and dominating the division like he's used to...if he comes, we will finally see if he's real deal or not...I suspect not
May 9, 201511 yr We could see Mourinho, Klopp, Pep and Van Gaal play together next season. That would be epic.
May 9, 201511 yr Would be pretty great. Hope he joins them, can only improve the league. Foundations are there at City as well so it would make sense if he did join.
May 9, 201511 yr We could see Mourinho, Klopp, Pep and Van Gaal play together next season. That would be epic. Clash of the Titans, just need Gus Hiddink and Carlo to pop over and we can have a battle royal, great fun.
May 9, 201511 yr So, if Bayern fail to turn around the semi against Barca and Pep leaves this summer... success or failure? Wonder what that Bayern fan on here thinks.
May 9, 201511 yr I know I've been saying this for ages and this may be about the zillionth time I've said it (well, it seems like it) but with final restrictions, a team in need of re-building and a competitive league I don't think Pep will be a success. You seldom see Barcelona or Bayern losing to teams who don't really compete for anything. In the PL you can't take any win for granted as every single team puts up a fight, you have to work for your victories over here on an insanely different level. If he can sort out the City team with the financial restrictions, make them genuinely challenge in Europe and maintain a title challenge to the end then I'll happily eat humble pie, but I sincerely doubt he can. He's managed teams when the players were at their peak, in predictable leagues with no more than one serious challenger, no Stoke Citys or financial restrictions. Why buy when it's all there ready for you anyway? I wouldn't be even remotely 'worried', if that's the right term. The only time I'd be worried is if the owners realise long term success will not happen unless someone comes in who is given time to develop the team. Now if that happened and Klopp decided to come in... I could see them being a genuine threat for years. They can have Pep, he'd be gone in less than two years.
May 9, 201511 yr So, if Bayern fail to turn around the semi against Barca and Pep leaves this summer... success or failure? Wonder what that Bayern fan on here thinks. Will have to be regarded as a failure...they have no competition in Germany so only place they're really tested is in Europe and they gave been dicked on in two semis when finally put up against a decent side...
May 9, 201511 yr Chelsea's win at Leicester really put into more perspective by fact they have won six of last seven, only blemish was against us...and we did it playing good football in the second half..not that we get any credit for it... Edited May 9, 201511 yr by The Brit

May 9, 201511 yr http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/may/09/juventus-cup-honour-memory-heysel-disaster-victims the video footage in this article is shocking, what madness was that? unlike Hillsborough which was the result of stupidity, this was the result of an intentional attack on opposing fans.
May 9, 201511 yr Will have to be regarded as a failure...they have no competition in Germany so only place they're really tested is in Europe and they gave been dicked on in two semis when finally put up against a decent side... If that is the case, then what will be said about Don Carlo? Shouldn't he had won more w/ the money that is being spent @ RM?
May 9, 201511 yr So, if Bayern fail to turn around the semi against Barca and Pep leaves this summer... success or failure? Wonder what that Bayern fan on here thinks. I wouldn't say failure but I would say that it's been an under achievement.
May 9, 201511 yr See you in hell Burnley. Hope that clogs up Dyche's throat and withers his ginger hair. I'm sure Matic is advising Ashley Barnes to not let the door hit his derriere on the way out.
May 9, 201511 yr If that is the case, then what will be said about Don Carlo? Shouldn't he had won more w/ the money that is being spent @ RM? Madrid will call it failure if he fails to win anything this season...but unlike pep, he's up against barca and simeone has done a Klopp-esque job at Atletico...and he still won the prize pep was hired for, the cl
May 9, 201511 yr Phil Neville's chat makes me feel sick. Thought the United pen was contentious looked to hit his shoulder to me, if that's a pen I thought Puncheons should have been. The push by Falcao on the CB in to Speroni is a foul every day of the week.
