Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15

If he lasts more than one season I'll be amazed.

A man who when chasing a game that he's 2-0 down in and swaps left backs like for like isn't the man to wrestle the title back from a Barca side containing arguably the best attack in World football.

Has somebody found my lucky wishlist from 2012 ?

Jose to come home and win the title with us again. ?

Gerrard  "we can't let this slip" slips up and loses the title. ?

Blatter investigated by the FBI and stands down. ?

Brendan Rodgers 5 years of fooling the Scousers.?

Madrid turn to Benitez for help.?

I'll wait and see what happens, if he manages to combine his defensive tactics with the dangerous attack Madrid already have then I wouldn't be surprised if he does well. Stranger things have happened.

I just can't see him doing well.

Barca are getting better and better with each passing game while Madrid seem to be in turmoil. Fans turning on Bale while the team just not clicking like they did at the start of the season.

I don't think Benitez is a very good man manager either so not sure he has what it takes to manage a team of superstars and ego's.

Looks like Steve "wally with a brolly" McClaren will be taking over as head coach at Newcastle...

Can see him doing well there, I think he's a decent PL manager. Should never have got the England job, he was way too 'green' to handle the pressure of the role.

Will he attempt a Geordie accent in his first interview at the club?

I don't understand him.  :laugh2:  He's just missing out a bunch of words and speaking in a weird accent, thinking that it counts as speaking Dutch.

I too am baffled by this. Did they choose him because of his CL experience or what?

f**king FSW

He has that connection with Real Madrid, and he kinda looks like Del Bosque if you squint....

They're just paying the price for their 'Galacticos' policy which extends right up to the manager's position. They might change their ethos in the future but they're more than likely using him as a stop-gap until next Summer when they either promote Zidane or go for someone like Klopp....or Guardiola

I think they're right to charge him tbh. Only because of the swearing though, he knew it was going out on TV and there were plenty of kids in the crowd. Guy really needs to grow up if you ask me.

I agree, the guy is an asshole, he deserves his fine.

I'd love to know where all that money from FA fines go. Manager outbursts are in the tens of thousands etc. Are there any websites with that specific info? I wouldn't have thought so... seems a little corrupt like FIFA!

Classless, why not just enjoy a celebration without offering a foul mouthed stereotype, or jabbing another team which, let's be honest, Arsenal is not really in a position to do. So glad the Blue parade was as it was, proud!

Regarding Jack it was stupid and irresponsible.

However it's a party atmosphere and he got caught up in it, I'd like to think his club would be taking action rather than the FA getting involved.

I don't really mind though as he comes across as an arrogant git.
