I had the worst happen this afternoon, Courtois declared himself homesick and demanded a transfer request... to Bayern for 30 mil, one half of his estimated 60 mil price tag... wtf. i actually agreed a 60 mil transfer with Barca so i could buy Neuer but the CPU sent him to Bayern for pennies. i didnt even get or accept a bid from Bayern.

 

Seems the game is rigged so that all the big clubs can horde all the world class players. Bayern have Neuer, Courtois, Cech and Hart. If that was my team, 3 of them would be demanding transfers due to a lack of playing time.

 

Anyway, I figured, what the hell, i had 80 mil to play with, so went to buy Neuer, only to be greeted with "A player of this class is unlikely to want to join our team"... wtf again. Bid 80 mil anyway as his estimated worth was 70 and they always ask a bit more. Refused, demanding 103 mil... the f**k???

 

So had no option other than to buy Sirigu. So my starting lineup now looks like this.

My goalkeeping situation is f**king dire at the minute after having Courtois nicked off me. Having to try and get one from my youth team now, which will be touch and go no doubt or try and rebuy him at a no doubt extortionate figure next season.

As for PES 2015, i did download the demo the other week and it was crap. Some of the players faces in cutscenes look better than fifa, i'll give tem that, but the pitch looks crap, controls makes no sense at all, possession is next to impossible as the opposition only have to walk near you to get the ball, no last man battles or anything like that, plus there was no commentary.

Bought 300K worth of Fifa coins and got Neymar in a pack with 150K Coins left, Neymar himself worth 350+ K.

Ultimate team was a genius idea, earns them more in revenue than it does in sales of the game. However I feel the Fifa series has suffered over the years with the focus on Ultimate team. Feels like they are neglecting gameplay and other game mode improvements. Still can't believe they haven't added a online co-op career mode yet. Pro Clubs is the same, such a great game mode with so much potential. They haven't touched it in years, all their promotions are Ultimate team this and that and only ever talk about other modes when the new fifa is out.

Is true, although Ultimate Team this year is sh*te, mainly because of gameplay, I've been quite done with it for some time which is extremely annoying since I got bloody Neymar in a pack. My problem with FIFA 15 and this is especially bad in Ultimate Team is that you can dominate the whole match and lose it because of one fast break. They need to sort this out.

Ok I play Ultimate team and only Ultimate team. I get bored of seasons very easily, and the only thing that makes it good is the official fan chants.

 

Now back to Ultimate team. Believe me guys, there is no scripting. It's all in your mind and there is always that physcological impact when you are trying to defend the lead added to the fact that you risk flirting with complacency.

 

As for those who struggle with defending, its all about your formation is this game. I play a 442 Diamond formation (1 CDM, 2 CMs and 1 CAM), and rarely do I get battered because my midfield is so packed, making it very hard to break me down. I am exposed on the wings, but I tend to deal with crosses fairly easily.

 

Lastly, DO NOT BUY PACKS!!!! Waste of money. The way to go is to find a reputable seller of coins on Ebay. I bought 2 million coins for £16 and I really do have the Ultimate team including stars like Aguero, Costa, Di Maria and YaYa. I'm dissapointed that I can't buy Hazard as he only plays as a winger, and I will not change my bullet proof formation to fit him in. Having so much fun with this game right now.

I just can't get interested with UT team any more, found it the most fun on Fifa 12

yeah that ultimate team was one of the best, very balance i thought, which actually made it fun to play! me and my mates just got promoted to div one on pro clubs!

Is anyone noticing their hard drive capacity savagely decreasing due to Fifa's bizarre reply saving system? It saves way too many goals - loads of which are average - and it often misses great ones. Either way I happily just record them myself if want to - not sure why they need to do it automatically (and get it so wrong so often!). 

Ultimate Team is bad this year, there's no argument.

 

I very much enjoyed UT on FIFA 13, this year I mainly play Pro Clubs and Seasons. Seasons is actually fun to play without the dicks who lob the ball to Ronaldo or Aubameyang and run forward, and actually gives a realistic gaming experience. Pro Clubs however is the best gamemode this year, having loads of fun playing with the lads, best is when there's 4-5 players, once you get the feel you'll start making some incredible offensive plays.

 

Hoping for better FUT next year, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Pro Clubs has been the best game mode since it was introduced. Playing with a full 11 is better I think, you may not get the ball as often as you want but it's the best way to recreate an actual football match. Really enjoyable.

 

Shame Ultimate team came along and ruined everything. 

Don't even play Fifa anymore this years one has been shocking, same old rehashed product every year & whilst pro clubs is the best mode it is also boring when the cpu around you are so sh*t.

Well, I don't play drop-in matces. I play with my friends whilst on skype so we all conversate with eachother at the same time which improves the game in my opinion and is hell of a lot of fun.

 

I don't see the attraction in playing drop-in matches. Nevertheless, pro clubs is excellent.

Just to throw in, I only play career mode and I downloaded the new teams the other night and started a new season. Jememie Boga is now on the game and he is phenomenal!

His overall is only 59 but it's rising dramatically as I slipped him into my first team.

Charley Musonda, Dominic Solankie and Casey Palmer are on now too and Islam Feruz has turned up at Blackpool.

I had my copy for about 2 months, it was the first FIFA i'd bought for a couple of years and I enjoyed it for a bit the fun and novelty fairly quickly wore off and I traded my copy in. 

 

Don't think I'll be buying next seasons, online is just as cheap as ever, thought something might have improved on the new consoles but people playing as Real Madrid and spamming long balls over the top got boring quick.

Nope, sensible soccer is the greatest of all time . No argument.

I think I can safely say FIFA 15 is the worst edition of the game I have played so far..

 

FIFA 10 World Cup was the first FIFA game I played on a regular basis and in my opinion 12/13 have been the best ones.. 15 is just a bitter disappointment.

 

Only had FIFA 14 for a month and sold it then, so far next gen has not been good to FIFA.

Is there any point buying this on the PS3? I vaugely recall someone saying there was no Pro Clubs on it?
