150kpw and seemed content with a squad role. I thought he'd see out the remainder of his contract so I tip my hat to him for wanting a bigger role.

Yes, only for 1 more year though. Not hard for the higher ups to shift him. Any fee is pure profit so they could have gone to him and said they would ask for 12mill transfer fee, and give him half to leave. Is still 6mill FFP profit.

Easy job to shift any of our youth players who have played for our first team. Look at the fees we got for Abraham and Tomori.

If asked to sell them Winstanley and Stewart would have 0 issues getting 50mill for Mount, 80mill for James, 25mill for Chalobah, 30mill for Gallagher or even 15mill for CHO. At least they should not.

Getting rid of cr@p players on huge contracts we signed for big money, like Kepa, or Koulibaly, or Sterling etc now that will take real ability at their jobs.

Surprised we are selling him. Every team would love to have a player like him, content to be a squad player and play any position he is asked to. I would keep him purely for his versatility and top attitude.

But paying someone £150k p/w who is a squad player isn't really feasible. I do like him and happy to keep him around but for the wages he is on, yeah maybe best for both parties.

On his day, not many could do what he does on a pitch. Do think he would be best moved on, but I am a big fan of the player. If AC Milan do come in for him, reckon it could be a great move to reignite his international credentials.

Really solid player who wins the minds of most managers he's played under. Reckon Pochettino might have a role for him

Good to see him taking a step up in his career going to a huge club with European pedigree that made the CL semi's this year. Will be brilliant in the Serie A, when you see players like Milinkovic-Savic doing so well over there.

Never knew he was being paid that much, who in their right mind offered a squad player that amount of money? Lots of people like to blame Boehly for players' wages but the previous regime was guilty of the same thing. If anything, it looks like Todd was just following the standard at the club.

Think we’ll be lucky to get anything between 10-15m

Like I said before Milan refused to pay 8mill for Ziyech, they are cheap. They will probably want us to let RLC go for a Giroud style token fee.

What? He didn`t even impress at Fulham.

Under Scott Parker? Who played him everywhere, and I mean absolutely everywhere, from DCM to striker? They fell out in the end and I don't blame RLC in the slightest. Serie A will suit him perfectly with its slower tempo.

We'll never know how much that traumatic achilles injury stifled his development as a player.

He had chronic back problems early in his career which hindered his development also unfortunately, he had to train in a specific way to accommodate it since he was a kid.

Milinkovic-Savic is highly rated in that league and RLC stylistically similar but much better.

Are we sure we are talking about the same player? They are both tall but other than that I don`t see the similiarities at all. Milinkovic-Savic is about delivering goals and assists while being solid defensively as well. Strong aerial presence, strong physically on defence. He can shoot, pass, cross etc. RLC has absolutely zero end product. Milinkovic-Savic has 76 goals and 61 assists in 379 games. Ever since his injury RLC has produced a grand total of 2 goals despite playing a pretty high number of games. Please elaborate how they are similar?

Same happened at Chelsea. Reason is RLC has no real position and no real ability to do anything. He is simply not good enough.

What utter nonsense, why do people talk in these absolutes, of course hes has ability.
