Good 2nd half performance against a very good Southampton side.

Six points clear at the top with a game in hand.

Lots of positives to take from the game I think and only good goalkeeping kept it as a draw.

Come on Chelsea!

Positives are no more Champions League, we just focus on the league now, that is priority.

We need to start putting in better performances, that wasn't good enough, we came back 2nd half and I'm glad we showed some character, I thought it was all knocked out of us for a second. But this still isn't good enough, we will not win the league if we can't put in a good performance.

Dropping points like this it's just too early to do it, if we bottle the league this early we have really shot ourselves in the foot. We still have big games to play, we can't slip up against sides like this, every top side has beat Southampton this season except us.

I want us to play Matic, Fabregas and Ramires in central midfield for the rest of the games, tired of giving away entire halfs because we can't control a midfield.

When i saw Cuadrado walking up to take a corner near the end there i said it out loud he would not beat the first post man. He's had about ten efforts now and every single one of them has been cleared by our opponents first man. So frustrating and i just boiled over at that moment.

We played about 65 games the season we won the UEFA cup under Fat Boy. The players didn't look anywhere near as exhausted as they do now. Jose is too stubborn and refuses to rotate. If he believes our backup players aren't good enough, then that is his fault for buying them.

Whatever channel Im watching, showing Matic and the southamptons player tackles side by side. Looks identical. Ones a pen ones isn't

Bertrand was fantastic tonight i thought. Defended well, played some dangerous balls into the area and he had something Mourinho loves, work rate. I don't know why he is thought as average by some, he's been one of the best defenders and full backs in the league this season.

We opted to spend millions on a left back who can't get a game rather than give Bertrand a chance. Sums up our youth policy

I can't understand why Diego keeps pulling out wide, I thought he was a poacher. Did you see the Bamford goal yesterday when he spun the last defender and was clear on goal ? I can't remember the last time Costa did that.

his goals were absolutely beautiful, id love to see him getting a game back here.

The matches we led and then being equalised.

It wasn't like we didn't have chances. We had so many chances to win the game. Could very easily have been 3 or even 4 - 1 to us. Quite disappointed tbh. After yesterday we should have won this game. i wouldn't judge Cuadrado on his 10 minute cameo but if I was to judge i'd say he was sh*t. But I'm not one to knee jerk and think he should get time. Oscar was poor. Had two chances to seal the game. Both straight at the keeper.

nah, the costa one wasn't a penalty. to be honest, the matic one shouldn't have been either, but it's only because matic didn't get his foot to the ball.

Sky done that and Souness and Hoddle saying Fonte got the ball and Matic didn't.

Very fair point, we're not as solid at holding out results as we were.

But we're 6 points clear, a game in hand with a hard-earned trophy in the cabinet.

It's not perfection, but we're hardly having a bad season.

Thought we could have done a lot better.

Not a good first half after we scored our goal. Second half was a lot more promising.

Why on earth didn't we put a full effort despite us being one up, is beyond my understanding. We always take the foot off the gas when we're leading by one. That sort of cushion is just not enough.

We could and should have walked away with all 3 points given the buffer it would have created. Should have capitalised on City's defeat.

Agreed. Matic was man first then ball, Costa's looked ball then man.

How good was Morgan Schneiderlin today? Guy is class.

He was very good today, I'm one who is often critical of him but he completely ran the game.
