Diego "the guv'nor" Costa

I'm praying it's not Lukaku to replace him, I don't like his attitude and not sure he'd be able to cut it against packed defences.

The only people I would say are suitable replacements, ability wise:

- Aubameyang

- Griezmann

- Benzema

- Aguero

- Morata (but that's because I think he'll turn out to be WC in the next year or two)

Problem being, I don't think any of them are realistic.

Weird the whole Instagram thing, coinciding with him not playing yesterday.

Its a struggle to look and see whos realistically better than him available. Cavani would be a close like for like. Not technically amazing, but works hard and scores goals.

I don't want this Agüero! (Image from as.com)

I have to say it doesn't look good.

If he went I really can't think which top class forward would be interested in CFC without Champions League. Hope he's thanking them for winning the match. Why wasn't he playing?

I believe this photo is from last year's pre-season, sorry, not convinced by the Agüero has never been slender.

He's not though.

He's a very muscular player, he has always had amazing strength for his short frame....

Sure, but compare the two photographs. He may be muscular, but his size this pre season reminds me of Costa's last pre season form (tending to circular   ). I wouldn't take an Agüero in this shape over Costa in his actual form.

But maybe we shouldn't discuss about Agüero in a Costa's topic. Sorry to have digressed.

Edit: Having said this, Agüero just scored against Dortmund...   :good2:  :laugh2:

He is only 5ft 8", so any muscle he adds will look more exaggerated.

Think he looks largely the same, maybe slightly bulkier.

Neither of them are as good as Costa though

Trust me. Milik is better. But just found out today he's off to Italy, so that's that.

Gabriel Jesus would also be better than Costa.

Damn right they're hard to build haha. I think largely its down to genetics for calves, you can either build big ones or you cant. I hit calves every time I am in the gym and only seen to get better definition but no real mass.

!

You don't glow them because you doing it wrong.

Biggest mistake is to overtrain then in the gym. You don't want to work them out every time you are at the gym.

They are not big muscle group and they need time between workouts to grow. You rip those muscles when you work out and they have no time to grow because you rip them apart again and again when at the gym.

You want to grow big calves - Hit them with massive weight for around 4 to 5 sets of 8-12 reps. That last rep should be almost failur. Do not go more than 5 sets for calves because most likely you will overtrain them. Endless sets and reps will get you nowhere when to comes to building size.

Also work out your calves once a week or once every two weeks for mass building. They really need time to build between workouts.
