Who cares about this game? Use the B-team and some youth players, let our key players rest. Hazard, Fabregas, Matic, Terry, ... can all have a rest if you ask me. We don't need to win this game and if we give it to Liverpool, we might end up seeing Man United missing Champions League again and that would be fantastic.

I suspect Jose will want to stamp his authority on this league and ensure the history books reflect our dominance.

He'll play the strongest team possible for this . The only game I think he will relax in is the Sunderland game.

It was noticeable that Roman was watching the U21 in an away match yesterday. We are in a unique position of being dominant at every level in the domestic game if we win our final three games and as so will RLC and Solanke be required for that push for silverware?

I think its brilliant that Roman and Son show up for reserve team fixture, we are so lucky to have an owner who lives for the club in the same way we do.

Rather unexpectedly, I’m off to this on Sunday.  I got a text from the supporters’ club yesterday telling me what time the coach left.  I hadn’t got the text to say they’d got tickets so thought they’d missed out.

Looking forward to a rowdy sing-song in Brogan’s, followed by enjoying their guard of honour and hopefully St Stevie’s face!  And obviously then a resounding win.

Very sweet that it is such an almost complete reversal of fortunes from last year – except we did it!

I expect a strong team from Jose - almost full strength.  He doesn't want to lose regardless, anyone who doubts otherwise should remember the way he approached the celebrity charity match last year!!

You're simply wrong. This is Liverpool. Modern history. We rest no-one & won't rest till we've beaten them. If you think the likes of Jose & Terry, Ivan etc. won't be up for this you've got rocks in your head. If Jose wants to "blood" the young-uns during the final two games then by all means but not for this. They always need to be dealt with and need to be put in their place.

A simple matter of professional pride perhaps.

I think you're maybe going a bit far. We've won the league now we need to focus on the future and that begins by giving young players a chance. Every minute counts and someone like Loftus-Cheek needs blooding.

Solanke is an interesting one because if Remy and Costa aren't fit then I'd be prepared to start him on his own merits. Zouma deserves a match as well and we don't lose anything by starting him in my opinion.

In retrospect I feel that I didn't go far enough.

Fair enough. I just think that developing our resources for next season is worth far more to us than playing the strongest team possible against this lot. If we're not going to play youngsters in dead rubbers, when are we?

I'd love to see us play a nice mix of youth and see how they fair. No point in risking any of our main big guns now that business is done.

Give guys like Terry etc a rest, or bring him on second half for the trophy ;)

I think JT wants to prove a point and play every minute of every game in a Premier league season, so I think you might have to lock him in a cupboard to stop him playing in this match or the other two.

But I might be wrong, and he might want a nice early holiday

I suspect you could well be right, and we know Jose simply refuses to be beaten at home.

So in reality I expect a full strength team, with a couple of young guys given 10 minutes if we have the game sown up.

Dead Rubber. Would love to see some kids get the chance to express themselves..

Courtois

Azpi-Terry-Zouma-Luis

LoftusCheek-Matic

Cuadrado-Fabregas-Hazard

Remy

Would also like to see Solanke getting a bit of run towards the end.

I want to humiliate Stevie Me and the Dippers.  We've won the title but we still have one job left to do, and that is to keep these guys out of the CL.  Personally, I'd prefer that they stay out of European competitions all-together, but that would mean the Spurs would get in (unless Southampton can make some noise), and we can't have that either.

GK: Cech
RB: Azpilicueta
CB: Cahill
CB: Terry ©
LB: Luis
DM: Matic
DM: Fabregas
RAM: Cuadrado
CAM: Willian
LAM: Hazard
ST: Remy

I need to travel to Manchester at some point this weekend, the missus is driving this time. She wants to go on Sunday afternoon, my response was that no because the game was on at 4pm to which she countered 'can you not even miss one game?!'...

Sometimes, I miss her.

I don't care if there's nothing to play for, I wouldn't care if it was a friendly, it's against Loserpool and therefore I hope we beat them, that club actually makes me feel queasy, hypocritical bunch of whiney scumbags.

First of all, how can i be "wrong" when i'm simply stating what I would do if i was in charge? I never said that i expect Mourinho to do it...

And secondly, i see no rational argument why we shouldn't try and involve one or two youth players in there. If Loftus Cheek will be a 1st team player next season, why not let him taste it against decent opposition now that we can do it without any pressure? I also see no harm in using Solanke if Remy isn't fit. Let Drogba start the game and have Solanke come on later in the game.

Another reason why i wouldn't be sorry if we lost this game is that we might just be helping Liverpool kick Man U out of the top 4 and thus not playing CL for another year. I just hate Man U more than i hate Liverpool and it would be absolutely brilliant if Man U ended up outside the top 4.

I guess I'm in the minority but it seems far more valuable to give youngsters first team minutes with an eye towards the future than finish on maximum points when the title is already won and there aren't records to be broken (record points, goals, etc).

If Jose will play the youngsters, I reckon he will do it after the Liverpool match. I don't think he wants to ruin the record of going unbeaten at home this season. I think he will give the youth a chance a bit more in the away match against West Brom and maybe a little in the final match of the season, but I think he'll field a pretty strong starting eleven against Liverpool.

Jose hates Liverpool the best case scenario would be humiliate them by beating them with a squad mixed with youngsters, he is pragmatic but there is an off chance he might do that just to prove a point, then again drog won't play next year he might want to give him a couple of more goals..Also keep in mind LVG is his pal and he will be expected to beat Liverpool who are a threat to Man U.I'm excited to see what he does.

Can you imagine that c##t Brenda if they do beat us " we showed great character in beating the champions"...f##k no strongest team possible humiliate those rat faced c##ts and let me enjoy my sunday roast!!!

If we do that, FA will fine us 100K and deduct 3 points for unsportsmanship behaviour, title chase is back on next week! I'm happy to see 2-3 players rested, but definitely not playing the reserve and youth, it's an insult to people who paid good money to attend a game, against one of our most hated rivals. I think Jose has to drag Hazard/JT by the shirt to stop from them playing, the love to play week in week out.
