Chelsea v Liverpool (PL) 10/05/2015 KO: 16:00 GMT

Featured Replies

Liverpool are pish, Brenda won't beat Jose.

I'd bring in Cech, Zouma, Loftus-Cheek & Solanke for this one, still think we'd be too much for them with that:

Cech

Azpilicueta Zouma Terry Luis

Matic Loftus-Cheek

Cuadrado Cesc Hazard

Solanke

Edit: what I actually think will happen will be the same team as today but with Remy up front, Cuadrado dropping out, Cesc in the 10 and Zouma beside Matic.

No need to play Fàbregas, Hazard or Costa for the rest of the season. Time to start players like Zouma, Caudrado,Ramires,Filepe Luis etc. Plenty of hungry youth there as well.

Somehow I don't think we will win our 3 remaining games. Wouldn't be surprised if we lost a couple actually. The job has been done.

Sure, we don't have to win but does anybody want our season to be tainted by a potential loss to the Dippers at home? I for one don't and thus we should hit them with full strength.

For the two last fixtures I agree - then we should play some youngsters. I also agree about Costa - no need to risk him.

Hopefully we will play with flair in the next 3 games now the pressure is off. Hopefully the likes of Remy, Currado will get starts, and few young players some game time. I think Gerrard will omit himself from the starting 11, so he won;t have to do the guard of honour.

I'm torn between either humiliating them or parking the bus to piss them off and winning 1-0.

I like your thinking!

We've won the league, Liverpool aren't challenging us next season and aren't in tremendous form so it comes down to this.

What is more important to José? Developing young talent and giving them a chance in a dead rubber in front of their own fans or protecting his home record and beating a rival?

Would love to see Loftus-Cheek and Solanke, expecting to see Drogba and Mikel/Ramires.

We cannot lose to that lot. I think we can afford to rest 2-3 first teamers for this one and still win. We have plenty of quality on the bench we can bring in that won't weaken us in any way.

                  Cech

Ivanovic  Zouma  Terry  Luis

      Matic  Loftus-Cheek

Cuadrado  Fabregas  Hazard

               Solanke

If Remy is fit then he should start and Solanke can come on.

I'd also love to see Chalobah involved in some way considering he's match-fit and a great talent. Just not sure if it's too soon after coming back from Reading.

He played a full strength team in a dead rubber against Sporting Lisbon so I think this is a question we already know the answer to.

Stop copying me haha! Pretty much the same as what I'd like but I think Dave would be better at RB to deal with the pace that Sterling or Lallana would bring if they play.

Ha ha.

I genuinely thought about putting Azpi there but Ivanovic has a decent record of goalscoring against this lot and I'd love for him to play every minute of this league season.

But I was so close to going Azpi and Luis at full-back. :laugh2:

Hopefully we now see attacking football with a couple of English youth players involved, Jose dealing with both his criticisms at once and leaving the media with nothing to say [emoji4] .

Will be very disappointed if we play defensive in any of the last 3, there's no reason to do that as we're not after any points records.

Despite winning the league this game is still very important, can't lose a game like this not at home not to this lot.

The guard of honour will be nice not going to lie, but I don't think Liverpool would care less if it meant they managed to beat us this game.

I just hope the league win doesn't make us any more less of a side against these, got to be focused.

We still have few important things to complete. We have to protect our winning & losing record, especially not to lose at home. Also we MUST let the young players play.

Wanted to change my previous XI:

Cech

Azpi

Zouma

Terry

Luis

Matic

Loftus-Cheek

Cuadrado

Oscar

Hazard

Remy
