You posted this exact video last week...

In a few other threads too. However much I enjoy the Fabregas song, I'm getting fed up with the same video every thread I read.

Can we win if jt does not play, that is the question.

Zola, Desailly, ballack, lampard, Drogba. All were irreplaceable at one point, but jt saw us through without them.

Who will see us through without him?

Well we won a champions league final without him so I think we'll survive.

That's one match and he played all the way through the run in, instrumental in many other victories that led us to the final.

Another reason it pisses me off that people try and say Terry didn't deserve the CL medal. We wouldn't have gotten to the final without him, it's a tournament not a one off match like the Super Cup or Community Shield.

seems sensible to give all/ most of  the top performers a rest now in preparation for next season

in 04/05 after sewing it up CFC went on to beat Charlton 1-0 (cup presented) beat United 3-1 at OT and drew away 1-1 with the toon

in 05/06 however went on to lose 1-0 away at Blackburn & Toon

09/10 no more matches

lets see what happens, personally expect a much changed team giving fringe and youth players a chance

A new chant for the wonderful Gerrard:

Gerrard is a w**ker, He wears a w**kers hat.

He thought he'd win the league this year but Jose said f**k that.

He stamps with his left foot, he slips with his right.

And when he f**ks off to LA we'll sing this song all night.

Enjoy.

If Jose won't give minutes to a significant number of youngsters (3-5) with the title sewn up, he never will

I don't think he will in this game and he shouldn't, he won't want to lose to Liverpool.

Not 3-5 from the start but Loftus-Cheek and Zouma could definitely start, as could Solanke if Drogba is the only striker we have available. If Remy is fit then I'd have Solanke on the bench.

We don't need a first XI squad to not lose to Liverpool.

They have top four to play for, we've wrapped up the title. Underestimating them cause they play sh*t against West Brom etc is just stupid, teams always raise their games for us. We go sticking in 2 or 3 kids suddenly the lack of experience can cost us.

                    Cech

Ivanovic  Zouma  Terry  Luis

      Matic  Loftus-Cheek

William  Fabregas  Hazard

                Remy

This team has enough strenght & guile to get a result against the dippers, 2 - 0.

With the title now done and dusted I really want to see what some of the youngsters can do for the rest of the season. I'm not saying that we should chuck half a team's worth of them in, but for me it would make a lot of sense to sprinkle in a couple whilst maintaining the core of our excellent first team. I'd also like to see a few of the squad players that haven't play much to get a runout.

So with that thinking, this is what I would do:

                         Cech

    Ivanovic  Zouma  Terry   Luis

               Matic  Loftus-Cheek

  Cuadrado         Willian         Hazard

                        Remy

I don't think Remy has got enough minutes this season so would like him to start. Didier has done a job when called upon but Remy deserves a chance. Again, Felipe Luis has been used sparingly at best and is an excellent defender and attacking full-back in his own right. I really like Willian as a no.10 and have always felt that he is most dangerous in that position rather than out wide, he was a real threat from the middle against Leicester. Cuadrado has been pants thus far and therefore needs games under his belt. Finally I'd like Solanke on the bench.

Who is actually still around? Will Willian be back from his holiday by Sunday? Is he the only one away?

I'm in two minds about this game. On the one hand obviously I want us to spank Liverpool (as I always do) and want us to maintain as healthy a gap over the rest of the league as possible. Obviously winning the league is the most important thing and that is now done, but if we put in a few rubbish performances at the end of the season, our overall performance might look less impressive in retrospect.

On the other hand I want us to give the youngsters and backups as many minutes as we possibly can, and allow our most fatigued players to recuperate. I suppose we could blend the two and have the likes of Loftus-Cheek and Cuadrado playing alongside the ever-presents, although coming up with a workable strategy is a bit more complicated. Do we weaken significantly and sit deep with a view to hit them on the break (like the 2-0 last season), or do we throw caution to the wind and go out all guns blazing?

This is what I'm currently mulling over:

-----------------------Cech

Ivanovic-----Zouma----Terry-----Luis

-----------------------Mikel

----------------RLC-------Fabregas

------Cuadrado------------------Hazard

-----------------------Rémy
