I really think a few younger players will give Liverpool more problems than a team consisting of a majority of first teamers. I think it would be sh*t if jose decided to put out a team of first teamers.

The club has just announced that today's bus will be an open top double decker. The League Cup, Premier League, FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League trophies will all be on display.

Would love to see one of the youngsters come on and get a goal (think Rooney's goal for Everton, against Arsenal I think).

This time last season we played Liverpool and football's very existence was on the line. We stopped everyone self combusting and possibly entering a new ice age. You're welcome, Earth. This year we can relax, enjoy and hopefully put on a good performance.

On the way to the match and an empty coach just passed us. The resident wag shouted " It's the Liverpool supporters' coach"!

I've just spent £6.99 for a Now TV day pass so I can watch the guard of honour in glorious HD on my TV, rather than on a dodgy stream.

 

Admittedly, the F1 and the match itself is a good bonus too.

Can't wait for the match, I just hope Jose will let Ake or RLC play.

Respect is earned, and players like Lampard, Gerrard and Terry deserve all our respect, as they are, and will be remembered, as GREAT players.
