Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2015/2016

I think working with Jose and more importantly Jt, he would have improved immeasurably...instead he's still working for a coach who knows and gives fcuk all about defending

I understand some of the comments because it justifies us not buying him, but this is a talented lad being woefully mismanaged by a fraud of a coach. Same goes for Barkley who really hasn't developed as he probably should've.

I really hope Newcastle get relegated.

Seeing the FSW get relegated with them would be a bright spot to a disgustingly disappointing season.

I hope so too, as the relegation of Villa and Newcastle will show that doing 'just enough' to stay in the PL is not good enough. Ashley has cynically invested, in this one season, to stay up (he hopes) to get the big TV money. I hope it's too late.

I thought this was funny from LVG

"It's always the case. I have said in advance what we need and in my opinion i don't have a senior creative player. Everybody knows that"

He's always had a senior creative player, his name is Juan Mata.

Mata's stats at Chelsea

2011-2012 - 16 goals, 22 assists.

2012-2013 - 21 goals. 29 assists.

United have had one of the most creative players in Europe in their team for a few season's now, but they haven't once used him correctly.

If i was Mata, i would get out of United as soon as i can, they have halted his career. I feel sorry for him, he was on to great things with us, but one bad move has changed things. He needs to find a team that understand's his style of football and will get the best out of him. You don't have that many assists and goals in 2 season's without being something special. Any team in Spain would suit him perfectly, PSG would be a good move for him too. To be honest, anywhere but United would be good for him right now.

Retrial must mean they have some big evidence to quash the guilty verdict.

What an awful thing to go through if you didn't do it!!

Maybe, new evidence has come to light. People will feel like right mugs if it turns out he was innocent..

People can only go by what the courts and juries hand down. He's still facing a re-trial but with this new evidence.

I think the reasoning behind the conviction was murky at best but disregarding that, my point was mainly to do with he way people and the media were hounding him and making his life hell before the outcome of the case.

Presumably he will be able to sue for loss of earnings IF he is provedn innocent?

Not sure, I know many have failed when trying to get compensation for wrongful conviction when they have been found innocent at retrial or quashed.

What is obvious is the new evidence must be pretty important because 9/10 appeals are refused.

Fsw is stupid and a bit sh*t at management?

Can someone explain why Benitez is called the Fat Spanish Waiter? Fat Spanish is obvious, but where does waiter come from?

What chance of WBA winning at the Emirates later? A draw would be good also. No matter what happens to Spurs, Arsenal finishing out of the top four would be great.

That whole thing was very good. Here's hoping.

It would. Flatmates from hell.

I shouldn't be tempting fate. I hope WBA get at least a draw.
