April 18, 201610 yr Hate to admit it, but the way Alli times his late runs into the box and scores a fair few goals, reminds me of a certain chelsea legend David Hopkins ?
April 18, 201610 yr Vardy banned for 2 games? When he comes back Spurs might well be top of the league then.
April 18, 201610 yr Eriksen pass for Ali 1st goal, very Cesc like, imagine knowing how good a player you are watching good players, fabuous feeling...
April 18, 201610 yr I need to apologise in advance as, judging by Radio 5, there are going to be some cocky and over confident Spurs fans about. I hope none of them come here and if they do they can sod off. No worries spud. Not easy to admit but your boys are best in the league at the moment. Scoring goals for fun and playing a good, attacking game. With vardy banned you have a heck of a chance now.

With vardy banned you have a heck of a chance now. Cheers Axman. I'm trying not to get carried away speculating but we do have a chance. It's a pity that Leicester play Swansea next but they will be under pressure, as will we. We seem confident however. What a mad season.
April 18, 201610 yr Does anyone else find it funny that within one month, Arsenal have gone from challenging for the title to fighting for a top four spot again? Edited April 18, 201610 yr by Scott Harris
April 18, 201610 yr Does anyone else find it funny that within one month, Arsenal have gone from challenging for the title to fighting for a top four spot again? A bright spot in an otherwise horrible season. I wonder how bad a hiding we are on to against Spurs when we host them? Feel bad for Claudio if they fall at the final hurdle. He deserves better.
April 18, 201610 yr I think Spurs will win it, Claudio is a decent manager but once again won't get a team over the line. Edited April 18, 201610 yr by Peckham Blue
April 18, 201610 yr I know the London rivalry is strong, but honestly doesn't bother me if spurs won the league. It would make it more hilarious when the arsenal fans reactions come pouring in lol. You can just imagine the frustration from arsenal fans as they watch spurs, their bitter, bitter rivals, lift the trophy their club has been longing to lift for over a decade. April 19, 201610 yr In all honesty I'd rather it were Spurs than Arsenal any day of the week. And rather Leicester than Spurs any week of the year. A bright spot in an otherwise horrible season. I wonder how bad a hiding we are on to against Spurs when we host them? Feel bad for Claudio if they fall at the final hurdle. He deserves better. They don't win at thee Bridge, simple.
April 19, 201610 yr Honestly do you think we can stop Spurs? They are fighting for the title and our players do not give a toss anymore this season.
April 19, 201610 yr The Vardy (2 games? ) suspension could seriously derail Leister's championship push. The 1:0 could easily become 0:0 without their best striker ad focal point of attack in the next couple of games. I believe the title will be decided at the Bridge. I had a weird dream last night, they needed 1 point to win the title, scoreless after 70 minutes then one of their player said F*C* to Costa, in return Costa stepped it up and scored the winning goal in the last minute I don't want Spurs to win it, but it could happen
April 19, 201610 yr No mind games intend bit when you look at Spurs league stats they are first in many ways and I honestly see them having a great chance to take this title.
April 19, 201610 yr Honestly do you think we can stop Spurs? They are fighting for the title and our players do not give a toss anymore this season. No. On the plus side I cannot see us getting anything from the Leicester game either. So in essence it's a 5 pt lead with 3 games left in my eyes.
April 19, 201610 yr Time to start mentally preparing - Spurs are winning the league at the death, unless we beat them at the Bridge.
April 19, 201610 yr The problem with Spurs winning the league is that they're in a much stronger position than Leicester to capitalise on that success. I think they're a better team at this point, they've got a great young manager, they play an attractive style of football and they're a more 'attractive' team to a lot of neutrals. With that new stadium on the horizon they could use this league win as a launchpad to usurp both us and Arsenal as the top London team over the next couple of seasons. Of course it could all fall apart under the added pressure next year and players like Alli could have a dip in form. But if they win the league this season it's hard to argue that they haven't deserved it and they've done a lot of the things I suspect a few Chelsea supporters would have liked to have seen us do.
April 19, 201610 yr If Spurs or Leicester drop points in their next fixture, they don't deserve to win the league. Swansea are garbage and were disposed of by a terrible Newcastle team and West Brom are West Brom.
April 19, 201610 yr It's must win Sunday for Leicester imo. At home to Swansea you have to get 3 points to at the very least consolidate your lead. I can see them going winless against Utd and Everton. Edited April 19, 201610 yr by Blue Exile
April 19, 201610 yr Not one of Squires' best, but still chuckle-worthy. This week; Jamie Vardy and dive-gate http://www.theguardian.com/football/picture/2016/apr/19/david-squires-on-jamie-vardy-and-diving-in-football
April 19, 201610 yr PSG have approached Jose about taking over in the summer apparently. I would love him to go there and not go to another English team. Unfortunately I think he's nailed on to go to United.
