yes after our result yesterday i hope the hammers smash them (zing) or at least get a draw, but still didn't understand the logic in sacrificing europe for a mid table league finish, probably billic thinks they're going to suffer major league decline like everton last season

UEFA ask for all they get with that competition. Too many teams in the CL means it's watered down to the point they have to fill it with mediocrity. Mediocre teams have other priorities.

See Arsenal getting 3 or more today, go to the top of the league and stay there until the pressure starts to mount...then get overtaken by us and or City.  West Ham just look awful...would make my day and make up for yesterdays poor result if Stoke put another 6 past Liverpool

Yeah to be more or less dumped out of the qualifiers if you're West Ham.

Compare that to a season of Thursday night football which could jeopardise a team like West Hams league survival and cost them 10's of millions of pounds.

That Payet looks a decent player but he's awfully greedy, he's had a few chances to play people in but just keeps running.

Best in the world with those. He is so effortless that most corners look like a total waste against him. Today for Arsenal he made an error. However if he didn't go for it it would have been a goal anyway.
