It's a different market now, especially in England where there are already a lot of cash rich clubs.

When a club like Stoke are able to go out and spend £20m on a player of the quality of Imbula it speaks volumes of the competition for signatures.

City and United have spent huge sums in the last two years but they've not come close to the title.

Jose isn't going to join a club where he's got one arm tied behind his back and both legs tied together.
