I caught the R5L commentary on the way home. Alan Green and Mark Lawrenson. Vomit-inducing. Green said the old clichés like "On these great European nights, there's nowhere in England that can compete with Anfield", and even said "It must be great to be on the Kop tonight." Well, yes, if you're a Liverpool fan. Not for the rest of the population it wouldn't be, you tosser. But the world always knew you were a closet Scouse-lover.
