Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2015/2016

Seen interesting stat on Twitter from olly Kay of the times that Spurs have to win Next week to beat their points record set under AVB in 2013..at the moment they are only a point better off than what they got in 2012 and 2014... just puts their so-called amazing season into perspective...just shows the decline of top clubs, including ourselves, while they have stayed about the same level as recent seasons

The Cech from 4 years ago would have saved that. Hes far from the player he was in his prime

2 near post goals today both of which were saveable.

Fair play to the arse, good equaliser that...typical though...forgot to sell Giroud from one of my fantasy teams months ago, finally did it in eve of this weekend...gets a goal and an assists today,.,what a w**ker

Newcastle will be desperate for a win against Spurs, unless Sunderland do the business midweek of course.

How important is finishing above the Arse to you, Spud?

It's very important. We are stuttering and it's not a given. An Arsenal second place finish would feel like a bad end of season for us.

After today's results, j think I want United to get top 4 and win FA cup as they are less likely to get rid of LVG.

Not a chance in hell they can keep on ignoring Mourinho, If they extend LVG's contract where does Mourinho go? No other real vacancies, He's a dead certain to join them and if they do get top 4 you watch how they give him a war chest, Mourinho at United with a squad with Martial, De Gea and 2/3 other world class players bougt in and their decline might be over, Fergie left 3 years ago and neither us or you boys have capitalized, It's so frustrating.

I know and I must admit, unfortunate I think Jose is nailed on to go to United this summer. LVG will getting top 4 makes it harder for them to sack him - but I don't think it matters, they will do it regardless.

I just don't Jose going to another English club but I think he will.

Had Mourinho been joining them off the back of the Real Madrid job, I wouldn't have been as worried, His last year f-ck up's at Chelsea will have him motivated, hungry and determined again, Plus United will back him big time there, His 2nd stint at Chelsea he had to sell Luiz etc all because of trying to stay in line with FFP nonsense, Which by the way has completely gone away due to the issues at FIFA and UEFA with Platini etc, What a waste of time that was.

I'm not so sure the shift in Chelsea FC's financial approach was truly FFP based. I suspect that FFP was a convenient cover for Roman to think enough is enough of this spending malarkey. It's not like since the wheels came off FFP that we have gone back into the early RA era of recruitment. And unless we do ever return to that level of investment I think we'll be looking up at the top four for years to come. This Leicester fluke doesn't mean that the title is from now on open to all regardless of how much you invest. Normal service will be resumed.

Atletico out of the La Liga title race.

Not necessarily. If Real Madrid lose, Barcelona lose 1-0 and Atletico Madrid win 37-0, then Atletico Madrid will win the title

You're right, I think he will be hungry and determined to prove everyone wrong. United is probbarly a better club to build a dynasty and they're setup for it. That's why I really don't want him to go there.
