Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2015/2016

Nasty injury there - his shin is sliced open - but it was never a red card challenge. He caught him accidentally on his follow through after playing the ball, and with proper shinguards there's have been no injury. A bad decision by Dean which could be very costly for Brighton.

What is it with footballers wearing these really crap shin pads of late ? So small and thin, it makes me wonder why they bother wearing any at all, it's not like they protect you.

Not how I saw it. Will watch again at the end.

Hes straightened his leg into the tackle with studs showing so a definite red for me, shows he went in with intent.

Bizarre isnt it, a decent set of shinnies and that injury wouldn't have happened, or wouldn't have been as bad at least.

Mata scores, well done there by Rooney, he knew his limits and decided to hold on to the ball and look to create rather than go all the way himself.

It's crazy how much Rooney has slowed down over the last year. His legs have definitely gone and he's only 30. It wasn't long ago that he would have powered through and scored himself there.

I think it's a really big risk starting him in the Euro's.

That sucks, guess we are stuck with one of Newcastle or sunderland staying up and boro joining them...

Congratulations Middlesbrough! See you next season!

Rooting for Brighton in the playoff now. They've been so much better than the other playoff teams this season, really deserve it.

If they get promoted, it's a Leicester level achievement. They were 20th last year!

I haven't been following the football much today but found out Terry got sent off due to United fans on redcafe dedicating a thread to that and Liverpool fans on rawk laughing at his struggles also, But surely this suggests the club has to give him an extension, Surely??? How the f-ck do you let your legend and not only legend, Captain and English poster boy leave on such a sour note? Mind boggling.

Because it's what our board does, they don't give a sh*t about the players or what they have given the club and the fans. It disgusts me.

At least he'll not suffer a 6-1 thrashing at Stoke like a certain Saint Gerrard as his last game.

This is so weird, we are about to see Leicester City lift the Premier League trophy. Just when you think you have seen everything in football, this happens.

Maybe England will win something again one day

I honestly think we'll win the Euros.
