May 10, 201610 yr Sky are going a bit overboard here. They are making it seem like this is one of the greatest football stadiums that has had some of the greatest nights in football, it's nowhere near it. You can always count on Sky to give us cringe worthy coverage. West Ham fans, dabbing their tears away with their scarves. "We love the ground so much that we're selling it to be knocked down for houses and a retail park and sodding off to a free stadium, courtesy of HMG" Sky are confusing West Ham with LFC and giving it the works.
May 10, 201610 yr The reason it's getting so much coverage is because this is the biggest moment in their history, their greatest achievement.
May 10, 201610 yr haven't seen much of him, but heard good things and looks good from youtube (is youtube though). how high is his ceiling? About 25ft with all that money. .
May 10, 201610 yr Classy bunch. I hope this is plastered over the back pages tomorrowNot a chance. And right on cue.... 'An attack is an exaggeration' West Ham v Man Utd (20:30 BST) Joe Wilson BBC News sports correspondent Posted at 19:55 "I am about 100 yards from the main entrance to the ground, what makes this evening unusual is the sheer number of supporters outside the ground.. The key thing is many want to be here to be part of the atmosphere. "Right outside the ground was the Manchester United coach and it was stuck, it wasn't going anywhere. There were about 10 police vans in front of it and it was surrounded by a sea of fans. I didn't see any bottles being thrown then, I watched for a couple of minutes, but I have seen videos on social media of a couple of bottles being thrown. "Most fans standing around were gesturing and singing, to say the bus was being attacked I think is something of an exaggeration." Edited May 10, 201610 yr by dkw
May 10, 201610 yr Just reading some comments from West Ham fans, the majority are blaming Man United for arriving at the time they did.......morons. Why does it matter what time they arrive, how does that excuse vandalism ?
May 10, 201610 yr The state of Teddy Sherringham. Midlife crisis. Is he auditioning for Peaky Blinders?
May 10, 201610 yr Wait, they are not blaming Chelsea? Amateurs...They've tried as on Sky Sports News they said that there were rumours that "other local clubs fans were planning to come and spoil things". Having said that SSN are bigging up the bus incident but over on the BBC it's ridiculous that they're generally excusing the West Ham fans. And this Boleyn Ground bollocks all of a sudden? It's f**king Upton Park. It's practically a pub quiz question that it's called the Boleyn Ground.Someone has bought them a multi-million pound state of the art stadium as a gift and we're all supposed to be upset they're leaving Upton Park. Well given the BBC downplayed Spurs behaviour against us and even had shay given saying dembele's punishment for eye gouging was harsh, why am I not surprised? Gets in the way of the bullsh*t script about this oh so special ground
May 10, 201610 yr Is he auditioning for Peaky Blinders? I reckon he was auditioning in the mirror, doing the voice, and just forgot to take the hat off. It's a more logical explanation than choosing to wear it on tele.
May 10, 201610 yr To be honest that video doesn't really suggest a great deal and it's hard to give an accurate verdict without being there. Obviously I don't condone it, but in that kind of atmosphere it's hardly as if lobbing bottles around is particularly uncommon.

May 10, 201610 yr Not too surprised. West Ham fans are rough af scummers. Enjoy the rubbish views at the ugly olympic bowl lads.
May 10, 201610 yr They reported chelsea fans rioting in paris with a picture of a knocked over chair and a slightly moved clothes rack.

Someone? :) They might wonder now why they spent all that money on this when apparently Upton Park is such a great place.
