Chicarito best sub in the world? Guess that's why teams are queuing up for his signature then. The commentary is sickening.

The CL ball has super powers too...

Owen in small doses can be amusing but if he's going to be a permanent feature in the CL then God help us all.

Utd are desperately searching for the next Ronaldo, and for some reason they've chosen Depay as the chosen one. Tiem will tell but he hasn't shown anything yet to prove he can even lace an 18 year old ronaldo's boots, let alone grow to become a player of that ilk.

I thought he was very good tonight, scored 2 and got an assist right at the end with a great cross. He misses a few chances but at least he is getting those chances. I thought his finishing, movement and passing was very good tonight. If he was a Chelsea player i would be very excited after that performance.

Once he starts replicating that form in the league and in Europe against better opposition, I'll admit I was wrong but for now the jury is still out on him. However, of course I would take him over what we have at the moment lol.

United look convincing, except for their backline still.

They cannot address that it seems.

Interesting stat - we have the fewest conceded goals of any team in the league since November 2014. Whilst De Gea is a key part of that, we are clearly not as bad as people make out at the back. Chris Smalling is a very very good defender (if not passer) and is up there as one of the best in the league. He's criminally underrated, but since his silly red card against City, he has been insanely good in defence for us.

I think Shaw and Darmian are brilliant full backs. Both fast and strong and very capable of putting in important tackles. Today was a bit different because they were clearly told to bomb up and down the wings, but in a normal game, they don't really give much away.

The only position that is a bit suspect is LCB. Blind has been good there in his three games, but we really should get a proper LCB.

If you sign Stones and Ibra we're f**ked

Ive been keen on depay for a couple of seasons, although he likes to play in the position as hazard. I remember 1 or 2 of our Dutch forum members didn't rate him too highly though.

I don't think he is far off where hazard was at lille.

Excited to have him in prem though.

He's quite a well built lad, it's great that we signed him without having the need to invest time in him bulking up. He's a ready-made player who's only going to get better. He has a great attitude towards playing, he almost seemed disappointed that he didn't end his Champions League debut for United with a hattrick. Great desire to improve, can't wait to see more from him.

I didn't understand why United played on last Friday until this morning. Someone is helping them out big time.

Nothing like that. There was an EDL march held on Saturday and West Midlands Police requested the game be moved to Friday.

Tbh, it would be no bad thing if the PL helped clubs playing in Europe more by pushing games back, like they do elsewhere.
