Beasley is Joses best mate in the media has been since his first tenure here. If Mourinho wants something in the press it goes through Beasley. Seems a 'ill scratch your back if you scratch mine' type agreement, Beasley gets exclusive info in return

dunno why people are obsessed with griezmann, he'll end up a schurrle mark ll. we already have traore who can be back up for us as striker, and griezmann wouldn't be a RW for us. not saying he hasn't got quality, but money could be better spent elsewhere - although there's not a lot of choice right now.

Spanish media do say it is a done deal yeh because they have agreed a price with Ateltico. His agent then went on Spanish Radio RAC1 last night (i think thats what they're called) and said Barca is just all speculation, they never spoke to them and his new team will be announced today or tomorrow.

 

My bet is swinging towards Utd or Arsenal/Lpool

I think this was asked before by someone else and its worth repeating – why sign Turan for £30m when Griezmann’s release clause is roughly £40m?

 

I know £10m is hardly a pittance but in Turan we’d be getting someone who appears to be a flexible squad player with a very similar skillset to Willian, whereas for £10m more we get a younger, quicker and more explosive player with much greater potential who could give us a real threat out on the right to match what we have on the left. In short, Griezmann improves our first team whereas Turan, from what I can tell at face value, doesn’t appear to. If Willian or Oscar has to drop to be the squad AM to accommodate Griezmann then so be it. Bear in mind that Griezmann is also left-footed and would therefore give us more balance/options in the AM positions, and I believe he can even play up front if necessary.

Same can be said about Sterling for £10mil-£15mil more then Turan. Sterling created the third most chances last season, behind Hazard and Silva. With better players around him he would have a higher goal+assist/min ratio, like he achived in the 13/14 season with Suarez and Sturridge as teammates.
