i seen it. he didnt actually say not for sale himself.  the interviewer said "so not for sale?"  not at all, he replied.

A journalist from the Guardian on Twitter: Roberto Martinez has said that Everton will reject Stones' transfer request tomorrow morning. The reason for the silence thus far was because of the preparations for the Barnsley game.

He didnt say those words himself. Had the interviewer prompted him to say it, thered have been no mention.   He was asked "so not for sale then?"  just as interview ended

id imagine it is over now. What more can Stones do besides refuse to play which he wont. He could push the move privately but  Martinez seemed real adamant i agree
