Apparently he's having a very good season for Reading.

Might be that he comes in next season and replaces Djilobodji as 4th choice centre back, be nice to have a couple more English lads in the squad.

He is Jamaican.

Weird how this thread was never moved from the "rumours" section even though we signed him.

Anyway he had a good day yesterday playing in the holding midfield role and scoring to boot in Readings FA cup win over Wba.

Him playing that holding role is of no use to us.

I read that he had started the season strongly in central defence.

No ideas what will happen with this lad in truth, surely another season on loan in the Championship beckons and I think his age goes against him.

Just like the Papy one this was a bizarre signing with little apparent logic to it.

Part of maybe the worst summer transfer window of the Roman era.

Why is it no advantage to us? It certainly no harm to us.

Because he's not one thing or another.

He's not playing in anyone position with regularity so isn't going to be viewed as more than a bit part player for cover.

If that's the role he's fulfilling for Reading what use will he ever be for us?

It's in the rumour section because most people ( myself included) couldn't believe we signed him. Maybe there's a sell-back clause so he won't even making the trip to our training ground before his Chelsea career ends.

Alright chaps, thought I'd drop in.

I am not sure why it's taken until the last few months for the club to figure it out, but Big Hec has the makings of an outstanding defensive midfielder. He's been superb in the role for the last couple of months and can easily do a job there in the Premier League. Whether it's for you or not, I don't know. I'd like to think you would give him a chance there.

I'm sure he will feature against Palace in that role on the TV on Friday night, so you'll have a chance to check it out.

Of course, now I've said that, he'll have a shocker.

He seems to be getting good reviews and has started the game tonight well enough.

Maybe could turn out to be useful signing?

At best he's a high level championship player or a low level Prem player, he'd never make our first team on a regular basis

Testament to our current lack of quality depth in defence when Hector a player who's played all his football in the championship and Aina with no league experience at all are who makes up our cover.

Tomori is also one to watch he is a great prospect I would't mind our lack of cover if it means we are trusting players like Tomori Clarke-Salter and Dasilva to create the extra cover needed sort of like United last season.
Obviously it would be great to sign a CB and a full back for the first team as we are currently lacking a little quality but If the reason for the lack of depth is because we were trusting our youth then I would definitely get behind that and personally I would prefer we did that rather than sign the Djilobodji of the world.
