Personally I see this as collective responsibility, but since Ivan is coping for most the flac, I'd like to ask why Matic is escaping with next to no criticism? By the standards he set himself last season, he's just watching the game pass him by each week. Presumably he needs a better player alongside him to get a grip of the middle of the park. I just can't see Fabregas being a sensible selection in that part of the pitch in Premier League football.

Could well still win this but I'd be very very surprised.

I don't know what Jose spends all week training them to do, but it's not working.

You could see in the opening 5 minutes that something wasn't right. It's not even about Newcastle being up for it, it's about us clearly not being prepared for them. It's like the players just took a look at Newcastle's form and thought it would be easy.
