Zouma was focusing too much on Mitrovic but come on Ivanovic, he was alone there, take the ball from him! 

 

We're looking really bad, Fabregas can't win any ball in the central, we're losing too many balls in the central and while our counter attacks. 

 

I'd say Ramires should replace Fabregas, Ramires can add more energy, more speed, more danger and better defence to the game.

That was our worst first half of football of the season, dominated by the team at the bottom of the table, we have been woeful.

 

I don't know what the f**k kind of defending that was from Zouma, the only reason he would ever do that is if Ivanovic gave him a shout surely. For me, he has to just get the ball clear, there is no reason to leave the ball, even if Ivanovic gives him a shout.

 

Midfield is weak, can't pass, can't hold on to the ball and are getting outmuscled every single time.

 

Nobody is showing any quality, it's just poor all over.

As dumb as it may sound, I think going a goal down before half time may not work out for the worst. Hopefully give the players a kick up the ass and get them to up the intensity,

What the hell does Ivanovic have to do to get dropped? He makes it so easy to get past him that he forces more players to get over to cover him, leaving us more exposed.

 

For every 4 attacks down our right by opposing teams, 3 of them will get past Ivanovic. That's assuming they don't just get a clear run down the middle from our terrible shape and wasteful possesion.

malaise season ahead, Jose gone within a month, Carlo in, and we finish outside the top 4.......if we carry on like this.  Disgraceful first half for supposed Champions, no passion; no idea, no clue.  This is Newcastle we are playing...bottom of the f**king league...

Maybe Jose can tell the players that this isn't a train session during half time.

newcastle haven't been good, we've been utter sh*te. Any other club in the league would have attacked them today given the run they've been on. We come out with our usual slow, turgid, no clear idea how to attack rubbish and set it up perfectly for them to rise to the occasion. Would be funny if it wasn't so predictable.

Well I doubt any of our midfield broke a sweat there. I wasn't aware of any central midfield presence until the 37th minute when Matic (finally) completed a successful tackle and Cesc took his first long-ranger.

Our defence looks totally lost dealing with two strikers too, and the full backs are being left to deal with the wingers on their own.

Credit to Newcastle though, they actually look up for this game. We don't.

Wouldn't be surprised if Rambo/Willian appear soon. We could use their engines.
