Chelsea Vs Southampton 3rd October 17:30GMT

Featured Replies

Chelsea team v Southampton: Begovic; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry ©, Azpilicueta; Ramires, Fabregas; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; Falcao.

Chelsea subs today: Blackman, Zouma, Baba, Matic, Loftus-Cheek, Pedro, Remy.

Terry + Cahill + Ivanovic... that's one immobile backline vs arguably the fastest frontline in the EPL...

Ivanovic and Fabregas... untouchable.

Well... at least Baba is on the bench...

In all honesty I much more like Southampton's lineup than Chelsea's.

There must be something in cescs contract that says no matter how sh#t i play i still start every game! Seriously this is beyond a joke now...

It's the politics of signing a 200k a week player I think

f**k me seriously Ivan and Fab again? Hope they prove me wrong but I doubt it, wonder if Ivan will ever be dropped. Oh well lets f**king do this boys!

I'm trying to look at the positives but Ivanovic at RB again and a CM of Ramires and Fabregas is worrying. It's like other players are paying the price for Ivanovic and Fabregas' poor form.

First we have Terry who lost his place thanks to Ivanovic's bad form, then Zouma lost his place thanks to Ivanovic playing poor, then Oscar lost his place because of Fabregas and now it's Matic's turn.

I don't know, these changes are odd, hard to understand and don't really solve our problems.

Hopefully today it all comes together. Come on Chelsea.

I hate saying it but I sincerely hope for one of the two scenarios:

a) Fab and Ivanovic get injured;

b) Chelsea lose the game and Abramovic comes good on the rumour to $%&t-can Mourinho.

Wanyama will own this midfield...

BTW Two Chelsea rejects starting: Romeu and Bertrand.

Oh! And I managed to catch a photo of Sadio Mane once he heard the line up.Premier-League-3pm-Kick-offs.jpg

Guys, if we win tonight, we will be in the top half of the table.

KTBFFH! Let's beat them!

Top half of the table? Are you f**king serious!? Come on Chelseaa!!!

Surprised to see Mikel dropped completely.

Midfield looks suspect without a dedicated holding playing.

Pedro's ineffective performances have caught up with him.

Happy to see Terry and Oscar starting.

Not surprised Ivanovic starts but Fabregas retaining his place is strange.

Big chance for Falcao today.

Baba on the bench for once, options to switch I up defensively... But we all know what won't happen.

I got rid of sky any good streams ?

I will get back to you on those streams at around five minutes before kickoff.

Have to check if the links that I found are working by then.

Will be posting them here asap.

You hope our players get injured or we lose?

What a knob.

Is this an entirely attacking lineup on purpose or an entirely stupid one? I literally just do not see the sense in dropping Matic, honestly confuses me more than Ivanovic retaining his place

Why the f##k José got rid of mata kdb and schulle is beyond me. .

It's strange but every manager makes poor decisions re: players (look at Fergie with Pogba).

---- De Bruyne --- Mata --- Hazard ---

----------------- Costa ----------------

That would have been special!

This is not the Jose we knew before. Where has his tactical nous gone? His willingness to change things that aren't working? What's happened to him?

Someone tell me Ramires has spent the last 48 hours glued to endless, looped footage of Makelele accompanied by second-by-second commentary from the great Claude himself.

If that's the case, we might be just be in with a chance.

Ramires is not a defensive midfielder.

Do you even watch him play?

Calm down, boss. Ramires has always been defensive midfielder. Jose used him on the wing, but that doesn't mean he is not defensive. It looks like you've never watched him.
