I like Rice but 100m?

Hopefully Marina does a better job than that, however dont think West ham will pull a Leicester and give us their England star for cheaper than is expected.

Will we really sell him now that Giroud has gone? I don't see it, it would leave us a bit light up front. I don't see him leaving unless we bring in another striker.

I think he will leave unless Tuchel has had an unlikely change of mind and as you say that therefore must mean someone new with Giroud also leaving.  Coming events cast their shadows before them.

Yeah definitely seems like we will sign a new striker. Havertz + Werner + a new striker + Broja

More than enough without Abraham.

I feel like Tammy has done well enough to deserve more time with us. That being said, I’m not totally against selling him. But it would be awful if he became an elite striker while helping Le Arse.

Why? If he isn’t good enough for us then sure sell him. Pretty certain this one comes back to bite us hard.

I’m not saying he’s good enough to lead the line for us, but I believe there’s a chance he’ll develop into a great striker and I’d hate to see that happen at the benefit of Arsenal. I think the ideal scenario would be to sell him to a mid table club with a buy back clause in case he comes good.

As I typed this I realized that Arsenal are a mid table club nowadays but you get what I mean lol

I dont want to see him go, but he refused a contract extension under lampard, and Tuchel doesnt fancy him. If we can get £40m for him, and use it for Haaland, then its good buisness.

Wouldnt sell to Arsenal though, unless they paid well above asking price.

Put a £5m tax on if its Arsenal. At the end of the day he's a striker who scored 16 goals in the league in his first full season with us. We aren't exactly getting the deal of the century by selling him for £40m, even if Tuchel doesn't rate him. If Arsenal are willing to spend £55m on ben White, then I then we should atleast quote teams £50m for Tammy.

Apparently Tuchel doesn't want to work with him so there is only one way this is going to end.

We will keep our key players but we have a pretty thin squad with little depth, even if we buy Haaland we won't have a proper sub for him with Giroud and Tammy gone unless Werner is going to be the super sub all of the sudden because Havertz should be a starter for us.

What does it say about Tammy that cashed strapped Milan can find the fee for big Fik and Palace pay a similar amount for Marc with 0 PL games but our top scorer for the past 2 seasons cannot find a club to move to?

Why would you say that Tammy can't find a new club? Is he looking for one, or is the club looking to offload him, as far as you know?

Who said he can't find a club?

Only this week I saw a rumour linking him to Arsenal.

Apparently we wanted to include him as part of a deal Haaland but they're allegedly not interested in player swaps.

Young, English striker with a decent scoring record in the Premier League? He's won't be short on offers at all if he does leave.

For me last season showed TT does not rate him, and with 2 years left on his deal and him very likely wanting more minutes a move makes sense. So I would venture a guess the club would be happy enough to sell him.

So, no knowledge, just guesswork :laugh2:That remark about what it says about Tammy makes no sense at all.

Always is guesswork based on what reading materials I can find Val. No insider club knowledge here.

Comment was more that it is rather surprising that Tomori and Marc G have made/are about to make moves yet Tammy does not seem close to one, despite proving himself far more that either of the other two.

Have you considered a career with Britain's tabloids? They're pretty good at being baselessly suggestive too.

Now that Giroud has left for Milan, our leading scorer at the club is Tammy Abraham with 30 career CFC goals ... ahead of Marcos Alonso and Michy Batshuayi who both have 24 ... 🙂

That would be funny if it wasn’t such a worry.

Would be easy money for sure, though having to put out the anti Chelsea rhetoric would get tiresome.
