See, for me, this is why the Premier League lacks so much quality football these days. It's sh*t tactics like Stoke's that is bringing the league down. The refs give the odd booking here and there, but they are far too lenient just because it's English football and this is how it is.

Sorry mate and no offence intended but that just sounds like sour grapes. It's Chelsea's job to win the game with better tactics than Stoke - you have spent enough on players over the last few years compared to them.

I would say exactly the same about United too. It's no good blaming the opposition when you are losing - it's up to your players to get the result.

As much as I applaud the effort, playing long balls to Rémy and Hazard is largely pointless.

 

I don't get it, what has happened to us keeping the ball on the floor ? This Chelsea team cannot play long balls, they aren't anywhere near as physically strong as the last Chelsea side coached by Mourinho.

The inability to retain possession from a simple throw in infuriates me no end.

The only positive I can take from this result is the fact that it's a few less fixtures to play and we can focus harder on somehow qualifying for UCL :'(
