Chelsea vs Liverpool (PL) 31/10/15 KO 12:45 GMT

It really depend who Liverpool play in their midfield. I think Cesv is most likely to partner Matic though.

Begovic

Zouma-JT-Gaz-Azpi

Cesc-Matic

Willian-Oscar-Hazard

Remy

That will probably be the lineup. Which is frustrating

I can definitely see Baba starting most simply because Liverpool are quite a short team so the extra height of Zouma at RB isn't needed.
with Liverpool's most likely side only having 3 players over 185cm tall.
Liverpool;  Mignolet, Clyne (175), skrtel (191), Sakho (187), Moreno (171), Lucas (179), Can(184), Milner (176),Lallana (172), Coutinho (171), Origi(186) / Benteke(191).

Given Mikel's good showing midweek and how solid he has looked this season I'd give him a start.
I also think Cesc will come back into the side as I don't think Oscar did enough midweek to regain Jose's favour to get ahead of Cesc.
Leaving one spot in midfield for either Oscar, Matic, Ramires or RLC.
Mikel and Matic would be a very solid and defensive midfield pairing and would definitely provide solidity in midfield, the same could be said with Ramires retaining his place however I think Matic's stupid red card against West Ham will damage his chances and Ramires' poor performance midweek and his poor passing ability might lessen his chances especially against what is a very defensive Liverpool midfield.
I'd love to see RLC given another chance but since it such a big game for us, I'd have to go with the extra experience of Oscar.

Hopefully Costa is fit If he isn't I'd like to see Traore or Kennedy up front at least there would be a lot of runs trying to beat the defensive line but again what I'd like isn't necessarily realistic so I would chose Remy over Falcao, especially seeing as he scored midweek.

My team;
             Begovic,
Azpi, Zouma, Terry, Baba
        Fabregas, Mikel
   Willian, Oscar, Hazard
           Costa/Remy

I am feeling optimistic. This is the week where it starts to turn around.

2-0 Chelsea

half of me is too mate, half isn't

i want to feel really 100% positive about it and confident that we will come out strong and fucking annihilate them, and if the players' quotes in the papers are anything to go by, then that is what we should be seeing. a team fighting for the gaffer and giving everything to win and start moving up the table.

been expecting a strong performance for a few weeks now, one where we come out and steamroll a team and just destroy them, but every time we step on the pitch its just insipid.

i think we could do them comfortably tomorrow, but a strong 3-0 reverse wouldn't surprise me one bit. going to go one way or the other IMO, i can't see a draw. if benteke is playing i reckon he will cause all kinds of problems though

if we play a strong posession based game I think we can win it, Liverpool will press extremely high under Klopp, so if we can string our passes together and keep the ball, they'll all be knackered by about 70 minutes and we can take advantage. I can't see a shut out from our point of view though, so I reckon it'll be 1-1 until about 75 minutes in and then we'll score the winner. Hopefully. Either that or Matic will get sent off after 8 minutes and we'll lose 3-0, jose will be sacked and armageddon will happen.

Tomorrow is my 1st anniversary of being on this forum, so let's celebrate this moment by beating these fools and showing them that they're no different now to what they were under Rodgers. Hoping for a great atmosphere

I think it will start and the atmosphere will be electric - worried that an early goal for them could completely destroy the atmosphere.

The team I would enjoy watching, but will Jose play youth?

Once in a blue moon, like v this mob season before last.

Listening to that press con. what a lot of rubbish questions they ask, know wonder he loses his composure,

it would be nice if he could answer all questions with a "no comment, next" save his pocket as well.

I loved the one where some muppet asked "have you ever had such a poor run" or something like that and Jose said "don't you know the answer"  "yes"  "so why ask me then".  Not angry, just with a sigh.

No team I hate losing to more.  Please don't make this season any worse Chels.  Praying for a 3-1 win.  Out here playing football in Canada, way too many scousers in the team to be dealing with losing.

Think we'll be seeing a lot more of these types of press conference.  Of course Jose doesn't like the recent run of form, and then to add the "Angry Jose hits kids" type stuff about those two wee plebs that followed him for 20 minutes then took the huff when he told them to f**k off; well, you can see why Jose is being much more shrill with the press.

I think this is an important game, as they all are.  Can imagine defensive, counter attack football, which will be painted as the enemy of what Klopp is trying to achieve.

Thanksfully we've not gone back an hour yet, so I only have to get up at 530am and not 430

Difficult period, we aren't at our best but we're still one team, we have good players with fantastic manager and we have the ability to win tomorrow. I have a good feeling, let's get back to the winnings!

COME ON CHELS, LET'S DO IT!!!!!
