Stoke seem happy to sit back and let us have the ball, we need to improve our counter attacks drastically to catch them when they are short. We've already had a few that broken down far too easily.

Don't really understand critisism for the performance so far, we're trying to get some form going and I think we've pretty lively so far.

 

We're not going to start ripping it up overnight, it's going to be a gradual recovery and there's signs of it out there.

I think we could use RLC instead of Ramires for good, sadly he is not on the bench.

Costa started the game as if he were drunk. He's actually a disgrace a lot of the time the way he gets caught up in unnecessaries. He got better as the half went on, coincidentally when he started focusing on his football. Nowhere near a top level striker though.

 

Baba is hopelessly out of his depth but he'll get better the more he adjusts to the Prem. He's on a booking now and may get subbed, but if we bring Cahill on and move Zouma to right-back and Dave to left-back, we're almost guaranteed to concede.

 

Matic is woeful, having a terrible season, Ramires gives us energy but precious little quality.

 

Could go either way. Come on Chelsea.

Better first half, but not by massive amounts. Shooting would be handy too from outside the box, it is allowed lads.

Like others have said before many times, Ramires sticks out like a sore thumb on the ball.

If willian wasn't faking it then he should be replaced by oscar.. I'd also like to see cesc to come on somewhere in the 2nd half to replace ramires and remy for costa..

I'm in a small pub with my girlfriend. There's a bunch of Stoke fans sitting opposite the room from us. They've just gone to play pool and one of them turned to the screen and said "f**king rentboys!"

Baba is not poor. He does his work, he won few tackles and let twice Shaqiri cross from his side while dribbling on him. By showing him his mistakes, he will come better for the second half. That yellow card was suspicious, but now he has to be very carefully.

Shaqiri has him pretty much pinned back. He can't go forward because the man in front isn't Oscar, or likely to assist defensively.

We look good. As usual, we can't score from open play. Do we have an attacking coach?

No we don't. Made the observation earlier in the season, a quick look on our management team shows our system mainly revolves around stopping the opposition.

Today Dave would be better. Shakiri is very left footed, so always cuts inside. That would be onto Dave's favoured foot. 

 

You can change line ups to suit different games you know.
