Very good display today, Costa was poor but scored so I'll take that.

Huge improvements in our performances but we need that killer instinct back!

We played well and the scoreline does not reflect our dominance. In the context of this season so far that was absolutely massive.

Much,much, MUCH better from us today. We actually looked like a team again. We passed well, we were organized defensively and we attacked well. We should have had more goals but with the run we are on it's going to take time, we just need to keep playing this way and the goals will come.

It's nice...it's nice being vindicated for staying up till 3am.

 

Lately I've been going to bed only to have very lucid nightmares that we were losing every game.

Good win, good performance.

Very happy with that.

Most one sided and nervous 1:0 ever. It's such a relief to finally have won a game, but I think we should have won it already with a half decent striker played the full 90. We played well, just no urgency and movement in the penalty box, there were at least 2-3 tap in opportunities missed because Costa and others refused to make the run in the 6 yard box. Long way to go from a recovery, but at least we have taken a baby step.

The 'very' is a bit overreaching. Good performance against a pretty weak team.

I meant it relative to our season so far. Matic, Fabregas, Hazard all showed a much better display than any of their others this season. A marked improvement all round

Get in.

A win's a win, whether it's 1-0 or 6-0, or if it's against Norwich or Arsenal. I'll take it any way I can.    Onward!

Delighted with the win, it was a good performance by the lads.

 

Costa finally ended a run of 603 minutes without a goal in all competitions for us.

Good performance. As someone mentioned Diego needs to stop looking for cut backs and gamble once in a while. Only negative for me was we took our foot off it a bit once we scored.

Kenedy was excellent hazard irresistible.

MOTD will be a joy. The Gooners losing, Villa being dismantled (they look doomed!), NCL losing too. Leicester has to be the real story here though ... credit to our old boss Ranieri, he has them playing some slick football at the moment. I am sure Newcastle was sh'te as they can sometimes be, but 3-0 away can't be argued with! 

Lets keep this momentum with another win in Tel aviv! C'mon You Blues!

Team worked really hard for that 1-0. But should've been more comfortable. 

 

Opposition penalty area was a no-go zone for us most of the game. No player in a blue shirt to be seen.

 

Hazard was outstanding. Willian not far behind and Matic had one of his better games. Terry made a crucial block first half and didn't put a foot wrong..

 

Nervous last 15 mins. But we hung on despite Ramires' best efforts to give the ball away.

Good thing Tel Aviv is next. Chelsea could actually have a winning run...
