January 24, 201610 yr Guarantee they make a big thing of Costa diving on motd, and will gloss over the penalty we should have had.Nope! All agree that it was red and claim we should have had a penalty. Refreshing.
January 24, 201610 yr To be fair they did say clear red card and clear pen, I'm slightly surprised at them. I'm surprised when any neutral decides to be fair with us. Edited January 24, 201610 yr by Floyd25
January 24, 201610 yr And surprise surprise they've made it all about Costa. Idiots. Really? I heard them say clear red and should've been a pen against Fab.
January 24, 201610 yr Jermaine Jenus reckoned Arsenal were the better side in the second half . Good old Ruud told it as it was though.
January 24, 201610 yr Really? I heard them say clear red and should've been a pen against Fab.They then showed a nothing tackle by Costa and started going on about him being a wind up etc. Trying to get Williams to call him out on it.Also no mention of Wenger being a dick. January 24, 201610 yr Really? I heard them say clear red and should've been a pen against Fab. Did you hear what Cesc said when asked by Shreeves if he deserved a pk?
January 24, 201610 yr The MOTD commentator reckoned Costa wasn't touched for the red Lovely day out in North London. 3 points and a clean sheet against that lot, as usual. Wenger seething and Arsenal fan tv in meltdown. Job done.
January 25, 201610 yr Man City champions 2014 was the only time in 23 years that the eventual Premiership winners lost both home and away games to Chelsea.
January 25, 201610 yr Man City champions 2014 was the only time in 23 years that the eventual Premiership winners lost both home and away games to Chelsea. We beat Utd home and away in 93/94.
January 25, 201610 yr Ha ha, goonies are so pathetic.. http://metro.co.uk/2016/01/24/arsenal-fans-report-chelseas-diego-costa-to-fa-for-diving-to-get-per-mertesacker-sent-off-5641973/ Seriously, is there something wrong with Arsenal fans ? they all come across really dumb. It's like the club that attracts stupid people, with a name like ARSEnal it's hardly a surprise.
January 25, 201610 yr I didnt watch this cause I was up at 6am for work and it kicked off at 2am, but I was so sure we would lose. Cant watch highlights until I get home in many many hours but absolutely delighted. Sounds like we did ourselves justice and Costa has 6 in 6. Get in, I love beating Arsenal.
January 25, 201610 yr Posted this a few days ago on the 'following nearest and dearest forum'...feels even more appropriate after Sunday's win: 'lots being made by Arsenal about Walcott's 10-year anniversary since joining the club...is it me or has he not actually done that much since he's been there? Certainly not deserving of all the platitudes they're meting out like he's a legend or something...been injured a lot, scored only 53 League goals and won a couple of FA Cups in that time...pretty underwhelming stuff, just like Arsenal really'....
January 25, 201610 yr Rlc and mikel would be better than matic and mikel if we play fab forward. By far the best game I've seen from fav in the advanced position. The last few games have also showed Costa still has good pace. Hiddinks longer ball strategy has been a success thus far with fab and Costa. Now if we could just get the power through the midfield going get Dave back on the right, and yes Ivan did have a good game, we might get back to what we should be, challenging for the title.
January 25, 201610 yr Oh boy I am glad we won this, especially against Arse-hole-anal. We really needed these 3 points. Onwards and upwards from here, one hopes. Ivanovic was much less turgid this game; hope it continues.
January 25, 201610 yr Really thought we were done for given our form, however, what a turn of surprises! Absolutely brilliant! Well done team. Our D held off a stiff challenge in the second half showing if we want to, we can perform.
January 25, 201610 yr The MOTD commentator reckoned Costa wasn't touched for the red Lovely day out in North London. 3 points and a clean sheet against that lot, as usual. Wenger seething and Arsenal fan tv in meltdown. Job done. That commentator was a classic example of someone who came in with a pre-prepared script, namely 'Costa is and will always be the villain, no matter what'...what a twat at the end when he said 'a controversial win'...the only controversy was Clattenburg ignoring a stonewall pen on Fabregas
January 25, 201610 yr Amazing scenes from the emirates of the traveling support that I just stumbled on
January 25, 201610 yr 1. Diego and Cesc we great! 2. Ivan looks to be GETTING sharper (*phew!) 3. Willian gave 200% as always! 4. Tibo distribution is a little worrying... 5. Matic made 2 tackle! Woop Woop 6. Adios Remy! 7. and the most important ...for the first this this season..... WE WON 2 GAMES IN A MONTH!!! Edited January 25, 201610 yr by ButchersHook
January 25, 201610 yr Mikel!!! Oh snap ... quite literally for Ramsey! https://youtu.be/hjnG-x6Nwt8 Edited January 25, 201610 yr by ButchersHook
January 25, 201610 yr I really need to learn to check my pessimism at the door when we face Arsenal. I stupidly thought we were going to lose.
January 25, 201610 yr 'That's the real quiz' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWBgj9YY4rU For once that twat made a good point re. Costa being the difference..but then he went into his usual bs mode...too many arse fans continue to be in denial though about the red card, the way chelsea dominated for long periods and failed to realise they didn't make Courtois make one save of note in the whole game...plus ref's biggest mistake was actually koscielnys blatant pen against Fabregas
