Ivanovic could've left for a free in the summer, now he commands a fee so it made sense to retain him. JT doesn't really have much value to other clubs but he absolutely should've been given a new one.

After just one game of Baba playing you do notice the lack of natural width with Dave at left back.

The ball tends to come inside a lot more which makes us a lot more narrow and predictable on the left.

Painful for me to watch us play with two narrow fullbacks and a narrow midfield. I don't understand it and I don't understand whose idea it was to build a team this way.

Absolutely, but even within Europe I think £5 million is the minimum and £7-8 million is probably more realistic. Even if JT did stay we'd be lacking in the senior leaders department anyway so why not retain him?

With Watford's midfield three, Fabregas is struggling to have as much influence on the game as he would ordinarily, especially playing somewhat higher up the pitch. Apparently Azpilicueta has had by far the most touches out of any of our players - Watford are doing a good job of nullifying our attacking threat.
