I love Traore. He's a conjurer, I get a hard-on whenever he comes on to the pitch; you just KNOW he will do something.

I can't help but feel like he's the second coming of Thierry Henry... minus the f&*%ery.

2 seasons ago we were in a similar game against you know who, at Anfield. We rested key players too, only difference was we stepped up on the day. I completely see Pellergrini's point of view, and he probably aware even if he picked a couple of key players, it would still be a tough game to win. Why risk it when bigger games coming up? We still needed to play well, like Arsenal wasn't able to beat a team a division below yesterday.

Come on, the team Pellegrini brought weren't even the substitutes, it was a team made up with 6 youngsters. I could understand your point had he played with the usual subs, but 6 kids! I don't think is fair on them either, they were fed to the lions. From what I've read, he was protesting against the BBC and FA for not allowing the game to be played on Saturday.

I agree with you that we showed quality in our play, but I still can't compare Hull (or Reading, another lower division team going through) with the ManCity of yesterday.

Yesterday was a great game to build the confidence even if it was against a bunch of kids. Goals are goals at the end of the day and hopefully Hazard can use this as the confidence he needs to get back to his best.

My only issue with yesterdays game was the introduction of Matic.. We have RLC sat on the bench needing minutes and the game is easily won. Throw him in and lets see what damage he could do, instead we bring on Matic who has been mediocre all season to run about for the last 10. Very annoying,

Apples and oranges we still put out a strong side that day even though we had te inexperienced Kalas at CB. Pellegrini put in mostly kids, I think that's embarrassing and disrespectful to the FA Cup.

That's was my opion too, Bob.

I still believe the FA Cup is a very exciting experience for the other football fans in Europe.

There must been something wrong with that Man. C. manager.

-------Schwarzer

Azpi - Kalas - Terry(i think) - Cole

---Lamps - Matic - Mikel

--Salah-------------Schurrle

-----------Ba

A second string side yes, but nowhere near as inexperienced as City's kids yesterday.

1 man arrested, caught on camera chucking a lighter.

Only a matter of time before the others are caught. There is no escaping Roman's eyes in the sky, why people do things like this I'll never know, plonkers. Also, there are cameras literally everywhere at the Bridge.

Matic has been pretty good the last few games, looking more like his old self again. Having him & Mikel playing well again is great for the team.

Never an excuse to do it...but of all the times this season you choose to do something like that, it's when we're playing man city reserves? Fcuk me, the idiot couldn't have been at Bournemouth, Liverpool, Southampton and Crystal Palace games

I usually sit right in that corner where the coin throwing happened. Unfortunately yesterday I was more central, but if I was where I usually sit and had seen anyone throwing stuff I would more than happily get in touch with the club and report it. No place for it in football and if Diego had celebrated in front of the City fans in the first half and they done it to him, we would all be outraged. I hope whoever was responsible for it is given a banning order.

The problem for me is, do we need a Mikel Matic combo? From what i have seen, it looks better when only Mikel/Fabregas is on the pitch and not Mikel/Matic/Fabregas.

For now i would keep the disciplined Mikel and Guus have to search another position for Matic or we sell him. I don't know if he has overachieved last season and cant replicate that anymore or just in bad form.

This Mikel/Matic combo could work for defensive games but how often do we want to see that?

I am sure he is bitter w/ the treatment that he is receiving from his Upper Management. If I was him, I would be bitter too.

Nothing to do with the upper management or how he's been treated with the Pep Guardiola announcement. Apparently he is bitter at the FA for not bringing forward the match to Saturday because of the BBC commitment.

Two reasons why I needed to give you a reply.

  1. I am sure Pellegrini feels that he did a good job @ Man City
  2. I love your handle - Great Rock & Roll Band

I prefer it if we play only one of them, and at the moment Mikel is like a new player, he actually looks like he is enjoying his football again, and that's all credit to Guus.

I don't think people realise how much better a player can be when a manager has faith in them.

I think Matic is still struggling to be honest. Look at him when he get's hold of the ball, it's like he hasn't got a clue what he is doing. He struggles to control it and if the ball goes towards his right foot he losses it altogether. I don't see a way back in for him right now, something has gone very wrong for him. It looks like he has changed his style, he wasn't playing this way last season or the season before that's for sure.
