March 1, 201610 yr Wow, nervy second half! But great composure! Great win in the end! ... upwards and onwards!
March 1, 201610 yr Well then. That was a lot, lot closer than I expected it to be. Still we got the most important thing, which is the 3 points
March 1, 201610 yr Another three points, good stuff. Well done Guus. In before everyone is sh*t and it was undeserved
March 1, 201610 yr Glad we won but what should have been a fairly straightforward game turned into a back to the walls performance. I was really looking forward to seeing Pato as well.
March 1, 201610 yr Despite our best efforts to do otherwise we come away with the three points. That's the most important thing but less said about that second half the better.
March 1, 201610 yr Worse second half under hiddink. One of the worse performances all season Tbf. Thank good it's over and we ended up with a fortunate 3 points.
March 1, 201610 yr Glad we won but what should have been a fairly straightforward game turned into a back to the walls performance. I was really looking forward to seeing Pato as well. Same here with a RLC appearance would have been nice and I think lift people's attitudes.
March 1, 201610 yr If the result was all that was important then it's a great day. Personally I think this season is over and we should be focussing on other things. It's a weird one when the highlight of a game is the performance of the youngsters and the low point is the way some of them are treated. Norwich are a certainty to go down after that in my opinion.
March 1, 201610 yr Why are so readily dismissing a faithful servant of this club? Yes he does have some managerial experience but more than that, he's part of this club's future. I'm sorry Les, but Stevie is a good guy and deserves a bit more respect than that. He's disrespected because I said he is an assistant manager which he actually is?. Your use of the victim card is not up to standard, try harder.
March 1, 201610 yr just as the 1st half was great the 2nd was not so what a stress fest at the end still 3 on the bounce and in the top 10 carefree
March 1, 201610 yr Willian has been absolute pony since he came on, should have just let him have the night off. If Guus wanted to pull Traore off (for whatever odd reason) then he should have put Pato, RLC or Remy on to make resting players worthwhile. Exactly, first of all I don't think Willian needed a rest for this game, he's a fit freak. Secondly, 2 goals up there's no real motivation for him to go out there, should have sent on one of the bench warmer who has something to prove. Hiddink has done a good reducing jobs since he took over, but he's definitely Not the man ( not saying he wants to ) to lead Chelsea into a full season , based on this and the last 5-6 drawn games. 3 points all that mattered, but that was really the case, nothing positive at all about us after about 60 minutes. It should have been a 5:0 game for us.
