Sky Sport journalist Massimo Marianella is probably the most reliable Premier League pundit in Italy being always very well informed about news coming from England and being also a very close friends of some big Premier League personalities such as Didier Drogba and Claudio Ranieri.

The Italian reporter will be the commentator of tonight’s Premier League showdown between Chelsea and Man City and talking to Sky Italia on Wednesday afternoon, he claimed Romelu Lukaku’s summer Chelsea move is a done deal.

“I think many big players will join Chelsea in the summer as Conte wants the Blues to become credible contenders for the Champions League win. I can say Lukaku’s Chelsea move is almost done deal and reports in England claim Alexis Sanchez will also play for Chelsea next season. Many other players could also arrive [at Chelsea].”

I was all for signing him a few weeks ago (mostly due to lack of other options) but not now, disappears against big teams and that attitude is by far the big reason why I don't want him here.

Conte might be able to beat the ego out of him, i think he feels entitled at everton because he's their best player, i think being at chelsea surrounded by players at or above his level his attitude might settle.

i think it's too harsh to judge a player by his (non football related) attitude. remember Costa? majority of people here wanted to "keep him as far as possible from this club" because they didn't like his attitude on the pitch. look what happened. pretty decent signing no?

Costa was the main scorer of a top team that was CL finalist and won La Liga. He was scoring against the likes of Real Madrid at Bernabeu, he was already at the highest level and he costed 32m. Lukaku didn't prove anything yet and Everton expects us to pay 70m+?

I wasn't commenting about his price tag was I?

Plus his work rate is shocking, Don conte is going to want at least 20% more efforts from him....but he does put the ball in the back of the sack!!!

I think it would be a retrograde step to sign Emil Heskey Mk2. The days of the big no.9 are surely over

He's well ahead of what Heskey ever was. He's almost scored more goals than Heskey scored in his whole career.

Guy probably could break 30 goals now at the age of 23 and the anti lukaku will still treat him like he's the second coming of trashbin mcgee or something

No one doubts his scoring record, but that's not the reason many don't want him.

He scores loads of goals every season. This myth about him never scoring or playing well against the bigger sides is nonsense. But some people just don't like him and will continue to come up with excuses, like he's no good against sides who sit with 10 men behind the ball... There are very few strikers in the world who could consistantly do well against that, you can't put that on a striker who plays up top on his own, it takes a lot of teamwork to break down a side that does nothing but defend.

Sure he's got weaknesses, but christ, look at how bad Costa's control, dribbling and passing is, it's not like he's got it all either, and Lukaku has much more time on his side to improve.

Most fans would love to have the Prem league top scorer join there club also adding the fact he is a supporter of the club too. Regarding his attitude he always comes across as a player who loves football and puts football first. He is always talking about how he watches football all the time and watches videos of strikers like aguero drogba Ronaldo to help him improve, that doesn't sound like a bad attitude to me. Im not his biggest fan due to his sometimes poor first touch etc but Costa is like that too sometimes.

I personally think the deal is done too otherwise why wouldn't he have signed the contract with Everton? Lukaku wouldn't risk going to another club and sitting on the bench again after what happened with us.

How would you describe Costa??

As someone who can command a place in the Spanish national side. Fast thinking, fast feet, and a pain in the backside to opposing defences. Often ploughs a lonely furrow, gets kicked all over the place, and occasionally wins free kicks around the box. Nearly always works his socks off  I think Lukaku might sink without trace in CL company

Fast thinking, fast feet,

On his day he's a great striker, but he has neither of those things. Every single game, whether he's on form or not, he will get the ball, take too long on it, and then try and nutmeg someone and lose it, about 17 times.
