This whole deal has gone completely quiet with not linked to any other strikers. I reckon it's a done deal and it's one of the deals that will be announced on 1st July.

Not sure how I feel about the deal to be honest. Something about Lukaku's personal image makes it hard for me to like him. He seems somewhat of a flat track bully too. I guess we will see, if we get him that is.

Sorry but I don't see that a deal for Lukaku has been agreed...still think that Everton are holding out for £80-100m and we're having none of it (hopefully)...

I just think that there would have been rumours if we haven't signed him.

Yeah there are literally NO buzz around Lukaku. He has publicly stated hes on the move and its complete silence from both Everton and his camp. Doesnt make sense

Hopefully not.

It is weird how we're not being linked to any other strikers at all at the minute though.

It's quiet because this deals done and has been for month's. Everton are going on a spending binge before other clubs can use the Lukaku money to get more out of them.

Daily Express are reporting this morning that the Lukaku deal is not done...Chelsea have tabled a £70m offer while Everton want £80...also any official announcement will have to wait till after 1st July when the Nike deal kicks in...

There sure is going to be a lot of disappointed people on Saturday when we don't announce 5 signings.

If Sandro is announced this Saturday then I certainly won't have any complaints.

Surely everybody is going to be awfully disappointed if Willy is the only announcement!

well bakayoko is supposed to be in london this week for a medical, so wouldn't be surprised if he's announced on 1st. people taking the 1st date too literally; unfortunately signings are not that simple.

Graham Beecroft on talk shxt this morning and who is very close to things merseyside, was asked any chance Lukaku staying with Everton, he said no its a done deal to Chelsea but no announcement till Nike deal kicks in on 1st July, who knows until the weekend, if I remember did we announce Kante on a Saturday in June last year? Still not sure on Lukaku, over the years for every, Kerry Dixon, Zola, Jimmy Floyd, Eidur, and didier, we have signed many duds as well, to many to mention. If he scores 25 plus  prem goals then we will proboably win the league again, heres hoping!

No, Kante was announced 3rd weekend of July.

Luk deal can be done under the radar and pretty quick. I think this will be done at some point.

I'm sure this is done I just want it announced so I can stop giving myself false hope that we might not sign him l.

So does that mean The Game is showing he's a truly diverse fella ha. On the main point I don't even mind Lukaku in our team as always felt he has a lot to offer (I know not a view shared by a lot) but for the prices being bandied around I wouldn't want Romelu and Jordan.
